I got the XBox, and I wanna know what to do PLEASE !! I got the BradyGamesGuide too...... What are you all talking about, Stryker on Cloud ZZ is a code ?! Where do you type this anyway ! So there would be 48 characters ??!!??

I'll give you a quick catchup. Apparently, someone on the Gamefaqs message board is receiving emails from someone. This person emails them codes - apparently from a different email address everytime. This codes people are deciphering, I believe using the kodex in the Bradyguide. The codes seem to be hinting that with every character we currently know is in the game, there is another character attached in some way - like Raiden possibly having Fujin "under" him somehow.

The part that is in question now is that one of the hints leads to Konqrr.com, a site run by a regular poster at this site. So - the question is now are these codes just a joke on the fellow on the gamefaqs site or are they legit because it seems very odd if they were official Midway hints that they would lead to a fansite.

It seems to be a web-site that has a ton of pre-release pictures of MK games...

Haven't dwelled to much at the site so far though. But doesn't look to interesting or ground breaking.

i pm'ed konqrr about this and he did not yet respond so well just wait and see what he has to say about this.

hauntedsouls is right. The validation for all these codes that have been circulating is the Version Code. Not like the version code is a big deal because I don't really care what version my game is, but it does provide some clarity as to the truth of these leaked codes.

I agree. I just find the clues a bit.....hard. But eh, they are suppose to be. It'd be kinda sucky if it was a piece of cake. LOL

Yeah we noticed, but what they put up is nonsense, I mean who DOESN'T have a Krypt guide at this point? At the end of week 1 there were full guides available on the net. The Brady Games people didn't have to do too much to get that information to the gaming public. We want something a little better - if something a little better exists.

I wouldn't get too excited about going to Brady right away, unless you're missing something in the krypt. They kinda blew it I think and let us down again. All they put up so far is a krypt chart telling you "everything?" about the krypt. But I guess maybe I should be happy that they at least put something up. They said there would be more updates soon but thats what the guide suide and hell that seemed to take long enough just to get this.

About the only thing that may be good would be the Konquest walk-thru. If, and I mean IF, they say "Midway be damned" and put everything in there. But the chances of that happening are slim to none...

Hmm..ok Hauntedsoul...that IS a VERY good point..didn't think of that. That WAS one of my main concerns..whether these codes were coming from a bull crap source or not. I guess this DOES prove there IS something here.
Version code? Yeah, I don't care too much. But something else HAS to exist. Mileena feeling blue? Kitana sharing her same costume in some of the endings? Come on ..there HAS to be SOMETHING.

The game just came out 15 days ago! I think it would be at least another 2 months before Official revelation! Although the Fight night chat, Ed Boon may give you Hints, he is NOT going to to tell you straight how to unlock the super secrets. He is just going to give you hints, and you/WE have to find out by OUR own!!
Granted, some of hints we may already know about, at least we know we are on the right track or not.

Well guys I finally started looking at all the MKD code with a hex ed to see what is in there. From what I'm seeing goes along with something else I was looking at yesterday. Someone on another sight had pictures of Nitira, Drahmin, classic raiden, Kitana, Frost, Shang, Quan, and maybe a couple of others.

From the look of it he was making a hacked Xbox version allowing access to the other characters. After looking at the code It looks like all of those people are on the actual game disk. Along with Cage, Jax, and one I haven't seen mentioned at all Blaze. I also saw a referece to a character name skab or something like that who appears to not have a full set of features. It may be the beetle from the beetle stage but maybe not. I do NOT see Fujin or Stryker and I would have to call anyone saying they are there a liar at this point.

All these other characters follow the konquest meetings where they have no fatalities or special moves. Frost apears to not have a weapon style at all, but has 3 different fighting styles. Her 2 originals and the shared style of Nitira and Sindel. The pic I saw of her had her using that style so that all agrees with outside info.

What I can tell you for absolute sure is all these people are on the disk. I can even tell you what fighting styles they use. What I cannot tell you is if they are in anyway accessable or not. Now we have all seen Jax, sonya, Kung Lao, Shang, and Quan in the konquest. I however cannot recall anyone saying they have fought Frost, Nitira, Drahmin, or Blaze. So there may be a way to fight them in the konquest or perhaps use them. If you can use them they will not have any moves or have any fatalities.

That is what IS there verified by not just me but many people. If someone tells you that they are useing cyrax, Kintaro, Montaro, or anyone else you can asume they are most likely lying.

whatever Bradygames put up on their site is incomplete anyways....so don't even bother looking...although they said more updates are to come...so who knows what they will do...probably just add more to what they already know....

Havik was originally an Alt. for Noob. but they liked it so much they made a whole new character concept out of it. Originally named him Skab, but then was changed to Havik. Havik is the best edition to MK we've seen since...well imo hes the best new character since about MK3 when they introduced Rain, Ermac, Sektor, Cyrax.
