That isn't necessarily true. Just because there has been a certain pattern to the secrets in the MK games doesn't mean Boon and Co. didn't decide to change things up a bit. After all, I'm sure the MK team gets bored of doing things a certain way and after a while, to keep things fresh, change the process. Secrets in this case would be no different.

Yes that might be a possibility but wouldn't it make more sense if it was 50 years after the year that you missed the tournament, I think that was when Shujinko was in his forties in the armored costume. I don't know if thats right but it seems to make more sense because it wasn't 50 years that passed since Shujinko was going to enter the tournament and after Konquest.

the back door is open thing---remember the back entrance to the village that was locked in the beginning of konquest? it could be open and waiting to be found...

Why would you wait at a dock in outworld? It makes more sense to me to wait on a dock in Earthrealm.

Good Thoughts. But it would have to be a certain time. Because I spend alot of my time in my finished Konquest around Earthrealm.

Also if the village door was open, why would we need to go back inside, j/w.

But about Darrius being Jax, I would love that idea. Only problem is I don't think it would fit in with Darrius' storyline, unless you already thought of how it could come together to make sense.

And I like the thought that maybe Onaga sent Dairou to kill Hotaru! Not to mention I hate Hotaru anyway.

It is interesting that on that Konqrr.com site there are two pics of puzzle fighters that are as yet not playable. These pics are 2 1/2 months prerelease of MKD and could have been dumped. They also seem unfinished - no script naming a special. Anyway, if these are already posted I'm sorry, but I have to go to work and don't have time to scan the few pages I've missed out on.

I have to say that if all this is real then the thought of hidden characters selected by highlighting others and thus giving us a lot more characters is awesome. BUT to be honest these clues don't sound all that imaginative. Anyone with half a brain and one nut could read the forums and come up with all of this. All they would have to do is take their story line (ie unlockables being selected via characters on the original screen) and reverse the hints through brady games hex thing-a-ma-digyu. I am a bit sceptical about all of this to be honest. I for one am not going to get too excited about anything until I see proof one way or another.

Hey has anyone tried to go to the TMK Easter Egg Site? I tried it and it didn't work. I think the the programers weren't expecting us to find this so soon, since they would have had the site upif they did. Only some of the graphics came up.

what i ment with the darrius and jax thing is based on the belief of there being 48 characters or basically 24 other peep under the ones we have. example: darrius- jax, raiden-fujin, scorpion-quan chi, ermac- johnny, kira-sonya, liu-kahn or shang, so on you get my point.

also with the gate it could be in a part of earth realm that is undiscovered and can only be discovered at a certain time or with certain items or with certain quests.

TMK Easter Egg What the Heck is this.

As much as I want this all to be true... wouldn't it suck if this was all a lie and nothing at all was true lol. I'd be pissed because this is going to be fucking awesome if it's true.

It just seems like there wouldn't be enough room on the disk. I mean I'm not saying this is all false information but with everything they crammed into it. This whole idea just seems way to big. I mean 24 more characters thats alot!

24 more characters is what they owe us, their was nothing outside of characters and stages in the krypt that was worth unlocking in DA. Boon and co. wanted to go all out and actuallylive up to the MK title.

If everyoe is wiliing to meditate for 50 years, why not take my advice and meditate until you are 50 years old on the dock in Outworld. The people in Earthrealm spoke of the Shang Tsung's ship that goes in the Lost Sea every 50 years and if they do not win this Mortal Kombat all will be lost. There is an empty dock in Outworld and if that was true that would be the best secret in any MK game IMO. I am going to try it.

The only thing I think they actually 'owe' us is Sektor. He was confirmed a long time ago I think, so I would say he is owed to us. I wasn't the biggest Sektor fan in the past (I liked him, but he wasn't my favorite), but I was really looking forward to him this time.

If it's truly going to be 48 characters playable, GOD, it's amazing!

Just think, Mortal Kombat I had only 6(?) playable characters, 9 in total...

It would be 8x as big just characters ALONE! Not to mention fatalities, styles, interactive, arenas and all that GOOD!

As intriguing as it is, I highly doubt the MK Team would put in 48 characters in and not boast about at least 35 of them. That would be a big selling point that they would not pass up.

I would be totally satsfied if 1 SU only is left and it is Sektor using Ninjitsu and Sambo and a similar look to the render plus his old costume as an alternate. I think it's possible but who knows.

I would love Nitara to be unlockable as well,that would be a bonus.
