Brotherhood of Shadow stronghold = a place for the Ninja Star?

Thing I noticed in the Brotherhood stronghold in the Netherrealm is that there are gates in front of the surrounding towers that look awfully pre-rendered (AKA I think they can be opened). Could there be some kind of slot in the city somewhere, where the Ninja star could possibly fit?

who knows , but i still believe there are many secrets to be found like the ninja star and raidens staff and maybe also the keys? there is still more to tha game
