An evil Johnny would potentially be histerically more funny than he is now!

As for other characters turning, I'd like to see the challenge the Earh warriors would face if Sub suddenly became evil! With his ice powers they'd have a huge challenge defeating him!

Another character would be Sonya. If she turned evil, we'd probably see a showdown where she could fight either Jax, Cage or Kitana. It'd be interesting if she joined one of the evil bad guys like Shang or Quan.

Here's a theory involving a good character becoming evil, and explaining the "deception" title at the same time:
I've always believed that Kitana's dissention from Kahn and the side of evil in general has been a big lie; in reality she's really evil and is working under the disguise of a good character, but is really working for Quan Chi or something.

Personally, I wouldn't lose a minute of sleep if Cage fell off a cliff and died. I haven't liked him since MK2, but thats just my opinion. I am tired of all the dumb movie script endings for him. Some people complain that certain characters like Bo Rai Cho are corny and serve no purpose but at least he had some positives such as training Kung Lao and Kang. I just don't like Cage at all but I'm sure a lot of people disagree with me. No beef here guys so don't take this the wrong way.

I find johnny cage extremely boring. All his endings have to do with him being a movie star and blah blah blah....BORING! I think he should stay dead and sonya should find herself another man. Hey or even woman hahahaha.

You said it-- why does all his ending (excluding MKT) have to do something with some lame ass movie. Give him depth or give him death.

Cage should turn....dead. Not good Enrigsh I know but I didn't like Cage ever and I still don't I would perfer to see him dead then in another Mk game.

Johnny Cage should just go away! There's no use for him anymore! Some people say, "What would the game be without the originals?" Well we've still got Sonya, Sub, Scorpion, Shang, and Kano, so get rid of him!

Cage is a must people. I’m almost sure we will se him return. We need him. And yes, I do hope his story gets change.

The team should focus more in the story of his "death and resurrection", I think many things could be discovered and put out nicely in his bio to give him a change!

Cage is crap, hes allways been crap, and he allways will be crap. I cant take him seriously with this shitty 'Acting' career! WTF is that about!? Hopefully he will have a horrible death in the intro and we will NEVER see him again

I agree, Johnny Cage does have potential to be a great character, i believe it was you who wrote that killer storyline for him, most people are just tired of his story. I could see many things johhnny cage doing in the next game, besides he died and came back, there has to be SOME REASON for that.

or his story could be something like , that when he died he maded a deal with someone to return to the earth and help liu kang and the others against shao kahn. but with the conditions of not telling anyone bout the deal and that when the dragon king raises he must help him.

that way he will be a good guy fighting along the evil dudes.(and probably die)

Cage will return. Just like some have said, his story has to change, other then that, he is one deadly fighter! A classic favorite.

But the idea of turning him into a vampire isn’t really the best that could happen. But making him evil hmmm, that’s interesting. Many stories could take a change thanks to that! Maybe Sonya’s, or Rayden’s.
