There was actually a fan-made storyline concept for Cage that because he came back from the dead his eyes are white like Scopion's, and that's why he wears the sunglasses. If they used that for him, I might actually not mind seeing him in MKD.

That would be me and Queve who thought of that, just think.. Cage's eyes pure white no pupils, or green with energy coming out of them. Cage probably dosen't want anyone to see them because of the attention it might bring him from the Earth's warriors. He probably want's to live his life as an actor but it is becoming greatly difficult for him to do with his flash backs that he gets from the after life. Cage could have visions of different events that could take place in the future and he finds himself caught in the middle of everything.

I would rather picture johnny cage dead in a coffin... Sorry to all you Cage fans out there.. Its just my opinion that he doesnt really have a place anymore.. His look is very boring. I think it would be cool if his main costume was a Tuxedo like im MKgold... his story line is also boring. I mean he can only use that movie storyline so many times.. I do agree however that if they game him a new direction, new story line, and an updated look that he could be pretty cool... but unless that happens I hope Johnny Cage doesnt come back. again, just my humble opinion

I think Johnny Cage will always have a place in MK, like him or not. I agree he does need a new storyline direction, I don't know why they didn't make him try and get vengance for Liu.

The two are good friends, so it would seem likely. They should keep Johnny's Hollywood theme, but just for once, not make movies his ONLY reason for fighting in MK.

There is a thread about this with cool stuff for his story. I dont care about Cage, but he probably will return in Mk7, not in MKD but he will return...

WAIT................!!!!!!!!!!! I GOT IT!!!! AN ORIGINAL IDEA ABOUT WHY HE WEARS GLASSES!!!
He is wearing them to protect his eyes and those around him cause if he doesnt cover them they produce a red beem capible of harming people and the only way he can contain it is in the glasses. YEAH!
