Looks good. Meat looks surprisingly cool. Daegon looks like an older Taven. Motaro does look rather cadaverous. Wonder if that's just the way they rendered him or if it's story related.

The silhouette is almost certainly for KAKs. Remember the loading screens for E3? The silhouette matches perfectly.

He looks like a retarded ram. The edited one that I made makes him look more like how he should be. Scary and evil. Like in MK3.

Question mark boxes are Khameleon and Monster. I mean, if they can make fucking MEAT of all people into his own character, it shouldn't be hard to do it with those two. Makes more sense than having both Khameleon AND Chameleon. Especially if the latter keeps the name.

Oh, I really couldn't care less whether or not he's in the game. Just it'd make a bit more sense than Khameleon AND Chameleon. Though going by Cinder's hints, both of them have basically been confirmed.

the screen looks cool. motaro looks like he has been drinking to much. the picture of meat looks sweet. i hope that they change scorpions' custom cause he look really stupid in it.

I liked it. Even though I still think that Meat is a waste of space, at least he looks cool.
But the absence of Khameleon annoys me. I know that there are a lot of things that hint us that she will be in the game, but I'm a little skeptic. I hope I'm wrong.
About Chameleon, I don't give a damn. Like Meat, he is just a waste of space imo. But if the blood skeleton, who is my moste hated "character" (including all those minor ones), is in the game, I can stand him being in.

Actually, as a graphic design/3D Animation major, I can tell you with nearly 100% confidance that what you're looking at is a photoshop.

I realize it's an official piece of art, mind you, but that's far too nice to be a screen-cap. It looks like the background is a screencap, Scorpion and Sub-Zero are renders, with the backgrounds cropped out, and the actual select screen was layed-out in photoshop partially from new artwork, partially from existing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure since it's official, it's a very close approximation of what they plan for it too look like, but I believe this was just a presentation Mock-Up. A top notch one (which they're very capable of making, since they obviously have all the original artwork on file) but I would be very VERY surprised if it actually looks 100% the same on release.

I wouldn't be surprised if the KaK gets moved to a less arbitrary spot. (Seriously... what's he doing up there... I think unless they find a way to center him, he shoudl be the final box, or at least the last one in that row... why break up the ninjas dead center?) Or, if the crispness and beveling on the grid and red and blue select boxes gets toned down to "television quality" if you will... and if all the characters whose portraits are made from existing art get new ones. (I mean regardless of what Reptile ends up looking like, that's a cinematic render from shaolin monks, not a play model from Armageddon. Mark my words, even if he's remodeled to have the same costume, it won't be the same portrait.)
