I think it's safe to assume that this is clearly not the final version of the select screen...this is the MK team way of telling us "look who's in the game...now shut up about hidden character theories!" then cinder goes and hints that the two "?" boxes are Khamaleon and Chamaleone...so there you go, now shut up about more hidden character theories!

i guess the select screen would look better in the actual game cause it's kinda fugly there...i really did like the rotating one better.
but yeah i'm glad we know what deagon looks like now(didn't think he and taven would be twins...one evil one good...kinda cliche)and we finally can see what meat looks like.

WOW, I have no words to express my appretiation for all the characters included in this game. Thank you for Reptile's ninja costume! and a big big big THANK YOU to midway for all your efforts to make this the best MK in history!

Motaro looks hella evil. Who's that guy to the left of Shao Kahn? He looks likie a demon!!! Edit: I guess that's Meet. Cool. Also has anyone noticed the theme? 1st row just ninjas (human and robo) 6th and 5th rows just the females. Last row = bosses 4th row = main characters, etc.

Which brings me to this. I believe that there are hidden characters accessible via some joystick or button combinations kind of like Street Fighter Alpha 3 or something similar to other games. What does everyone else think?

Actually is hinted that they are C/Khameleon.

I thnk there should just be one Khameleon and the KAK slots should be where the question marks are, SC3 style.

Also, Meat would look more intimidating if his freakin' eyeball wasn't hanging out.

I would be happy if the select screen stayed this way. I think all the renders are great, although reused. If it's not broken, don't fix it.

Also, I don't know why everyone has a problem with Scorpion's costume. Sure he has seen better days, but I think it's awesome looking.

And I'm not sure if I like the fact that they are using Reptile's MK Shaolin Monk outfit. Maybe if they change it a little, but we'll see.

As everyone has been saying, Meat looks amazing. I also think Motaro looks amazing. Kung Lao's picture defines him to the fullest.

Best renders are Meat, Kung Lao, and Blaze looks ultimately badass.

I laugh everytime I hear that the 2 question marks are two random select screens.

I don't know if the second "?" is Chameleon. It may be, but I was thinking it would be something like the original Sub-Zero, but they'll probably just use that for Noob Saibot's alternate if they are going with that whole story. If it's Chameleon, oh well. I'm hoping they will suprise us with something.

actually meat was an alt. costume...but since everybody was like "OMG...it's Teh Secr3t KaracTeR!!!!1!!!" it wouldn't surprise me if Boon and Co thought..."what the hell since we're making everybody return to armageddon let's add meat to the mix so we can sell even more games *evil laughter*"
