anyone who plays mk should not talk about repetition. We are the most repetitive people in the gaming community!
Same with halo.
But the repetition in GTA is different. MKF likes online because differant people playing with differant styles but GTA there isno surprise.
Once you beat the game what else is there. But dude...the content is HUGE.
You think MKA has alot? jees!

Fighters online don't get repetative unless there's a small roster and everyone picks the same guy let's say if a game with 8 characters everyone would be picking the same guy over and over, at least in MKD and MKA there's a lot of guys to choose from. My opinion on that.
The past few MK games have had a lot of content in it, especially MKD's konquest, god that was long with two mini games and the graphics were pretty good. So, that's another thing I must say that's never impressed me with GTA. Graphics suck IMO, average at best. MKA does have a lot but I don't think as much as MKD did, the konquest mode in that game was LONG and IMO too dragged out in MKD, MKA much shorter and better personally. And what I liked about the konquest modes is that you unlocked things that you needed in the fighting mode such as characters, costumes, coins to buy characters etc.
They could have locked a BUNCH of MKA characters which is originally what they were going to do that most don't know. They said back in E3 showing MKA is that a few years ago that half at least were going to be locked. You know how long that would have been? lol But hey to each his own, some players like the challenge of "unlocking" characters others don't. They want most unlocked with some things to get that are locked.
Thing that I love about online compared to offline in general is once you beat a game offline like GTA for example, then what?
Saints Row honestly IMO offers a lot more, you have the game created character, game to complete just like GTA, online which GTA lacks and looks a lot better then GTA does.
Now I see what mesofly's saying with "repetition" but technically that point can be said about anything if you want to be "technical" I mean GTA, Halo, fighters especially if there's no online gets dull...nobody wants to play the machine every day in any game.
BTW, to devilJin those are good points however just wanted to let you know man that they released patches months ago to fix those glitches and the game plays much better.
To C2gamer, although I agree with you about halo also being overrated I really don't believe that KillZone will do anything, Halo will murder any other shooter out there I'm positive of it. I will say though, although KZ won't hold a lick to Halo 3, at least it'll be an actual good game for the PS3 people.
I don't really like First Person Shooters, either. Halo is the only I ever play. I get into it because my friends are into it. That makes it fun. By myself I play fighters and Action games. Ninja Gaiden, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, God of War are my fav. games of all time.
I'm not really a fan of GTA. I admit I played the crap out of GTA III. I spent hours banging many hookers and shooting people in the crotch. Not to mention the chases with police. Maybe I can get into the new one. Also, with the exception of eazytobeat, I think everyone who likes GTA should have their balls punched off to the extreme. Wait, that's not right... I just think Chaos should have his balls punched off to the extreme, biotch.

haha, to the EXTREME!!!! YEAH!
Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, and God of War (every game of each series) are at the top of my list, too. San Andreas is right there with all of them, though. I love the freedom.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I saw some gameplay footage of Resident Evil 5. It looks fucking sick!

MKF ~ I know Halo 3 is gonna get more attention cuz look at all the publicity it's getting. There's a 7 Eleven where you can reserve a copy in my town (how stupid is that?), it's on Pepsi 12-packs, all over the T.V., internet, Mountain Dew came out with a flavor dedicated to it, etc. Killzone never got this kind of attention. Just TV commercials. But if you look at the gameplay videos of Killzone 2, I think they kick the shit out of the vids I've seen for Halo 3.

lol, yeah that is pretty funny a 7/11? Damn dude where do you live? lol that's a first I gotta admit.
Yeah, one of my best buds is a halo fanboy bigtime he was telling me Halo, the first ever video game to go on a soda can LOL. I was like, cool MK was the first ever game to cause massive controversy on a large scale and due to that helped part of it's success with the publicity. Now every other game has blood in it or violence, it's second nature now lol. Halo, GTA, Manhunt etc.
Another thing that gives Halo a big edge is the online play, Xbox did very well with Halo 2 for xbox one. Halo 3 is matching Halo 2 and then some. Online is important now for just about everything except for one player games pretty much.
Did they release any info on what PS3 will offer in the online department for Killzone?

As far as online play for Killzone 2, I'm not sure. I'll have to check the interview vids n stuff. I'm just happy in Killzone 2 the movement of your characters and your enemies is much smoother. Online play in KZ 1, it looked like everyone was doing the robot every time they walked or ran. Anyways I'll holla if I find anything on online play for KZ 2.
