I love all the classics, there all great charachters but if i had to choose i would pick Cage, solely for the reason that he really doesn't contribute to the storlyine, and it's basically been the same over the course of the series.

don't know which characters you consider like 'classic'. Does it include only the MK1 characters?

Sindel and nitara are 2 characters that I hate but they are maybe not classic.

Yeah, there not really considered classic, i would define classic as anyone from the first two installments, but that's just me.

There really isn't a need for Kano anymore with the Red Dragon around, and with him gone Sonia can get a new storyline.

Dump Johnny Cage, unless he changes his story.

Jax, use him as background only. Sonia can fight the war and he can stay at HQ.

Liu Kang, let him rest in peace.

Jax- never really liked him
Cage- story is getting stale, good fighter though

jax is by far about the worst thing ever in mk. he was ok in mk2 but by mk5 he was nothing but a stereo-typical disgrace to the roster. sonya looked like a drag queen in mk5; way too manly. johnny is supposed to be dead...but his soul was allowed to return...yawn. get rid of him. other characters that do not need to return are stryker, kai, shinnok, shao kahn (he was killed in mk5. he is dead. move on), molock (about the worst, ordinary, cliche sub-boss i have ever seen) hsu hao, raiden (he was cool in mk1 & mk2 but mk4 an mk5 made him a pussy) li mei (total clone of mileena. huge lack of effort on her design unless she somehow is mileena which makes no sense), jarek (clone of kano. put more effort into fighters, please) and any robo-ninja.

human smoke
kabal

personally i would prefer many new fighters rather than rehashing a bunch of old ones.

I think all characters who were playable in the first two MKs are worthy for inclusion in MKD's roster. If I had to choose anyone, I suppose I'd say Liu Kang and Kano... but only for storyline purposes. I don't have anything against either character.

I posted this in another forum, but im putting it in again. We should really stop focusing on the negative stuff, and appreciate all the cool and unique characters that have been created for MK. MK may not have the best fighting engine right now, but it has the best storylines and most creative characters that i have ever seen in a fighting game, IMO. good boon, good.

Also, im gonna take back all the bad stuff i said about Mokap and others.

having lamer fighters in mk6 roster would be a negative...

The fundamental classic characters of the MK series are those that were in the first game. As I've said before, the series started with them and should end with them!

I am really tired of the female ninjas, Sonya and Jax.

I definately dont want to see Jax, Kano and Shang Tsung(unless they give him back the shapeshifting power). As far as returning, Scorpion(YES CONFIRMED!), Human Smoke, Kitana, Mileena, Sub-Zero(with ice clone and ground freeze please), Bo Rai Cho(so funny lol),Raiden, Kabal and of course, find a way to bring Liu Kang back!

I'm really happy about the character roster of MK:D so far. It looks like they are really trying to get the chance to shed light on the more mysterious character, such as Noob and Ermac.


The people I don't want to see return are:

- Sonya (Dull)

- Jax (Dull, and sterotypical. His alt costume in MKDA was a joke.)

- Liu Kang (Dull, same exact thing game after game)

- Johnny Cage (Unless they can give him a purpose...)

Characters I do want to see return:

- Kabal (Remains one of the most creative characters the MK Team have ever made.)

- Human Smoke (I think he needs some credit in the series, they should give him some more unique moves though)

I want to see dhramin,Chameleon,motaro,johnny cage,shao khan,kabal, and jerick to came back beacuse their story lines are getting interesting besides johnny cage

Im actually sick of:

Kitana.

She was one of my faves, but her best was Mk2. She has gotten so boring now. The only thing that actually made her interesting in MkDA was her steel fans. I hated so much her styles, she was the worst character in that game.

Her fatality was trash! Terrible! Her special moves? The worst, she never brings anything new, her “pretty kick” (lol, corny) was good, but nothing special.

Her look is the best she has, but sadly always the same boring thing! And her story is so weak! Just like someone said, the weakest of all the characters in the game (except Mokap, but he doesn’t really count).

But Kitana isn’t really a “classic” or “original” character, her only true games were she wasn't added as a “second choice” character are Mk2 and MkDA.

Scorpion:

Well, I'm just sick of his story and his repetitive look, but at least he seems cooler then the one above. He has potential.
