"Confirmed", where? Those comics and their lisencing are nothing to do with Midway, they're owned by Malibu, or whoever controls Malibu now. The closest they can legally get to having stuff from the comics is to base things on them.

This happened with Jax's metal arms, copied from a cannon fodder comic character called Lance. But there's no way we'll see anyone like Lance himself, Siang or any other Malibu character, that stupid riddle book or whatever other crap they created. They have about as much relevance to Midway's MK storyline as MK Conquest, bugger all.

You make a mistake, therefore you are entitled to post a thread with "confirmed" somewhere on the title before double-checking what you first read, don't mention any sources, and you still are entitled to flame at everybody who, in a perfectly understandable way, doubted your word. Sounds fair.
