Ermacs alt is by far the best IMO. dont like the bald subby though.

i just had an idea. this may sound stupid but bare with me. ahem what if the white skinned noob is really the color swap of the black noob? this may give hope that noobs actual alt. outfit has not yet been revealed.

That is a very good point. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

They aren't actual characters that are in the game at the moment. They are in the background of a stage.

Very nice topic, Nightwolf. However, you're missing a couple of new costumes: Shujinko and the new character Darrius, both of whom were revealed in OXM magazine recently.

I would put them in but it is against the sites rules and I don't want to get in trouble. I haven't seen them yet anyway. If and when we see pics on the net that are official screenshots then i will post them.

Sub-Zero's alt is definitely my favourite of all character designs in MKD shown so far... But I also really like his default, both of Baraka's, as well as Scorpion's, Kira's and Tanya/Jade's outfits.
I don't think there are really any designs that I think are downright BAD... but I must say I'm a little disappointed with Ermac's, Mileena's and Sindel's alts - not because they're bad or anything, but because I think they're really quite similar to the default costumes, especially Ermac's and Mileena's.
Oh, and a side note - IF all those shots are something to go by, I guess this time, unlike in MDKA, we might be able to select the alternate colour schemes for all costumes... About time. :P I really hated that you couldn't do that in MKDA as I think some characters looked better in their alternate colours than in their default ones. It was also a bit wierd that if both players use the same character, one will always use the alternate colour scheme, even if they're using different costumes... I hope they changed that in MKD.

Really? I've always looked at her as a female Liu Kang. The bicycle punch, she does her projectile move exactly like Liu does his fire ball, she came to avenge her entire village instead of just a relative. She's basicly a modified Liu Kang who just happens to use Sais and wear purple...

With the new trailer out I've got some work to do. New images added Tanya Shujinko + alt Dariou Darrius Dragon King Kira's alt Tanya/Jade has been converted to Jade with her confrimation. I am going to add some better quality images of the current costumes over the next week to two weeks. So keep a look out for the thread.

The picture you added for Kira's alt is the same outfit as in the other picture... just wanted to point that out. The only thing we've seen of any alts for Kira was in that quick Kira vs Kira Puzzle Kombat shot in the trailer.
