I like the blue style Kenshi, makes him look darker, even if it isn't the most original costume on the roster but then again Scorpion has had revamps of the same costume every game he's been in so I'm not going to complain about a colour swap.

I think Baraka should have a darker color. I'm white too (lol) but I think some characters should have a more realistic color otherwise they'll look like MKDA's Li Mei which I didn't like so much in appearance in the game because she looks like an animé character hehe. She is very nice, though. :)
And my favorite one so far is Nightwolf (he has a nice color and everything is great, all different from Baraka hehe). Just an opinion...

regarding the latest pic which depicted a woman dressed in purple with fans. I'm hoping that's Kitana though it doesn't look like her. Besides, Kitana normally dresses in blue not purple. So i'm guessing that could be Li Mei. If that is indeed Li Mei, then that costume looks abit like her alternate costume from MK:DA. No ?

Thats not Bo Rai Cho's alt. Its his one from MKDA, they will change it. Its like how they used Scorpions old costume in early screenshots and videos.

I do think certain people should have a certain skin tone to them but not Baraka, he has always been that color.
I say Ermac should be tan like he was in UMK3 instead of just white. Tanya should be much darker, she was black looking in MK4, so she should be that color in this game.
Who knows though, those all might be finishing touches that they didn't put into the game yet just like Subby's scar.

I played MK:DA today and the costume is almost identical to his oufit from DA. I will post these at a later date.

Can I just say something about Kenshi's alt. outfit. It's not his second uniform!! The black and blue color scheme is what they did in DA with him. If both players pick Kenshi's default outfit, one will be in his red and black color scheme, and the other in a black and blue. It's the same thing here.
But other than that, this thread is one of the smarter ones. It actually serves a purpose. People don't have to go around the net to find alt. costume pics they can just come here. Great job!

Sub's 1st and 2nd outfit
Kenshi's 1st outfit (Second player)
Scorpion's 1st outfit
Hotaru's 1st outfit
Li Mei's 3rd outfit(I guess)
Ermac's 1st and 2nd outfits
Noob's 2nd outfit.(Still think it'd look better on Smoke)
Smoke's 1st outfit look sweet.
I like mostly everyone else's(yes even Bo Ria Cho's red one.) But these are my top pics.
I do think that's Smoke. I hope that they add smoke coming off his body, or swirling inside.

That's who I thought it was, but looking more closely, you can see the way the design of the clothes (i suppose) on their lower stomach's don't match. I beleive they were early version's, but now I dont know who it is, maybe it is Li Mei (but it looks like white hair behind her)

nice thread....but instead of kenshi being blue he suppose to be red. its like if u get subzero vs subzero..the other subzero will have a darker color or a diffrent color.

Yeah. I think that's when Player 2 pics his alt. outfit after Player 1, since the color scheme is a little different.

Its Li Mei. That picture is from the PSM mag. It's the same outfit (or very similiar to) that Li Mei is wearing when she is holding Kitana's fans. That costume also seems to be the same costume she is wearing while fighting Nightwolf on the cliff, just it's blue in that picture.
So maybe that costume keeps getting revamped or something.
Also I haven't played DA in a long, long time and I can't remember if you could pick the same outfit as someone? If that's the case then that could be the reason for Li Mei having two costume that look identical just with different colors. Same with Kenshi.

Yeah. that's what I said earlier. That black and blue color scheme on Kenshi isn't an alt. It's just the second color scheme for his first outfit.

I'm really hoping that:
A) Kitana's fans are a stage weapon
B) That's Kitana not Li Mei
C) Midway's playing a cruel joke on us.

I'll switch the said costumes into their colour swaps.

I like the look of Mileena, Jade/Tanya (whoever that is), Sindel, Li Mei and Hotaru so far. I think Kobra, Nightwolf and Kira also look ace. The second costumes all look fab, especially the ones that totally change the look, ie Mileena and Nightwolf, it makes them more unique.

i like Tanyas/jades outfit. hotarus 1st alternate looks like scorpion...don't like that.
the worst one though is subs 1st alternate...dont like his bald head

The more I think about it that is smoke. I believe that the MK team will add the escaping smoke afterwards. At first I thought it was indeed Noob alt but that can't be. Noob is all black not transparent. Rock on Nightwolf's alternate costume.
