I didn't make this story based on thinking that she is a female Raiden. The hat and colour of clothing however would explain why most think she is connected to him.

Actually the real reason Ashrah looks like she does is since Raiden, Kung Lao AND Shao Kahn all seem to be sitting this one out they need at least one character with a funny hat.

The speculation is bound to happen. Anything that looks remotely similar to another character and people will speculate. And I'm glad you like the idea. There is no need to apologise. You were just stating your opinion.

Okay...how about Ashrah really being Kidd Thunder all grown up. We were all wrong in thinking Kidd was a boy all this time and the tomboy grew up! Hey, we never saw Kidd's face either because of the hat and its kinda hard to tell if Kidd is a boy or girl due to all the clothes. That could be a theory. Although Ashrah would have to be around 18 or something in human years judging by the timeline.

How old was Kidd when s/he first appeared? Once again don't assume that Ashrah or Kidd had to take the same amount of time to grow up as normal humans.

Your right again, LadyRaiden. In that case, we don't know. Given how old the Edenians can live to, Raiden and Kidd Thunder could be virtually any age!

The odds of Ashrah being Kidd Thunder is less than her being Raiden's daughter. After all Kidd was never a true character only a 'Friendship'...then again it would give a whole new meaning to the 'Friendship' between Rayden and Sonya.

In the prologue part of the MK Trilogy manual, it states that the earth was ruled by Outerworld gods once Shao Kahn bound the two realms. Maybe Asrah is one of those gods. That would explain where she got a funny hat from.
