could mk:d really be mk trilogy 2???

look, everyone is in the konquest mode, charectersthat havent been seen are in it, we arent even sure if the sub zero we see is the one from mk 2 till now the one that got killed in the original, so wat im sayin, which is again a wild theory from me and i dont know if anyone else has this...but might this be another trilogy? i mean this is the dragon king, this guy is the apocalyptic and all be all event in which the world will end, could almost every charecter ever in the mk universe be back to wage war with the dragon king and his undefeatable army, i mean think about it it just might be. although i hope it is not, but still we know boon is crazy and would do this sorta thing which would be great, but still its not something i think we are ready for.

MKD would nee a much longer development time to transit every character into 3d with their own unique moves, fighting styles and fatalities.

I think ur getting this whole Konquest really mixed up with the the real game. It says that every char will appear that doesnt mean every guy is playable. I bet only like 20-25 ppl will be playable. Its not going to be like Mk Trilogy

MK6 is a sequel to MK: DA . Agreed I dont think a MK trilogly 2 will happen any time soon. Because You need a seris of events to have a trilogy you need a few entries . For example when MK8 comes around then maybe there could be a MK trilogy 2 could come out since it has a trilogy of events in which to be based on. MK: DA and MK6 is all about dragon king and I will think that he we be very inportant in future MKs.

Actually,MK:Deception might be the last part of the trilogy - with the first part being MK 4.

*Quick Example*

MK 4 - Quan Chi introduced,He tricks Shinnock with the fake amulet,keeping the real one for himself.Scorpion confronts him about his familly's murder. Quan attacks Scorpion but Scorpion transports them to the nether realm.

MK:DA - Quan escapes from neather realm and stumbles upon the Dragon king's army....errm you know the rest! grin

MK:Deception - The Dragon King is resurrected...


So.....Maybe the game after Deception could be MKT2? The only problem with that logic is that MK4 obviously has a completely different engine.

u know what would also be really cool if they re did the 2d mk game and made Mortal Kombat Trilogy 2. Maybe add sum of the new 3d chars to it. If they did this id hope it wouldnt been a major project so they can still keep making the newer 3d games, like how they did with Mk:Te, boon wasnt involved in that.

thats 3 games linked together, and 3 is a trilogy

having that many fighters in 3d would be great, but a pain in the what not

cool idea tho, since only the fighters from mk gold would need to be ported if they where not in the other 2
