Thinking they had killed shao kahn, Shang tsung and Quan chi never would have tought that Shao kahn would be that powerful and resourcefull, they would have tried to kill him(again)but to no ends, He is to powerful.one of the two (probably Shang)would die in that battle and the other one would run away.

Shao Kahn should just return as an enraged warrior who will use his skill in combat to return to the throne.

I would like to see Shao Kahn and the Dragon King start a rivalry. Shao Kahn would join forces Baraka and force him to betray Mileena.

That sounds pretty good Spawn, I'd like to see Kahn brough back in some form, but I'd personally rather see a power struggle between him and the DK...what I think would be really badass though is if...say you beat Chimera, then beat the DK in round one then in round two he transforms into a sort of psycho version of Reptile, like say the DK form of his body was beaten and he was finally able to take control...I'm tired of Reptile being everyone's bitch ^_~

If the Dragon King turned out to be Shao Kahn I would be pissed off beyond belief. I'd take the liberty to then burn down Midway's offices.

This man speaks the truth. The Dragon King is exactly that; The Dragon King. I have no clue why you guys can't except that there's more than 50 people in the Mortal Kombat world.

Midway already claimed awhile ago at fight night that we haven't seen the last of Shao Kahn. However I don't think he's the Dragon King, though I think they could possibly be connected. Shao Kahn's kingdom was on the verge of collapse. He could have seen it coming and resorted to taking a role in the Dragon King's revival to save his skin from the Edenian forces.

Either way I think Kahn's ruling days are over for awhile. He was left for dead and most of his more powerful followers (Baraka, Reptile, Kano, Tsung, Mileena?, etc.) have moved on to other things. If we see him again he'll likely be looking for a new kingdom to claim before he'll be forming any rivalries with the DK.
