First of all, Shujinko is from Earthrealm & Shang, I believe is from Outworld. Shujinko's only 60 or so while Shang is thousands of years old.

Also, he's not always an old man, he starts out as a little boy and as you play as him he ages until he's unlocked as a playable character (around the age of 60 I believe).

Shang could copy moves but still had some of his own and theres no way Shujinko releated to Shang because that would be weird but i guess it could happen

On first thought it's not a bad theory. But then you have to remember that Shang Tsung is a demon in human form. Shunjiko is a flesh and blood human about 60 years old. Shang is thousands of years old.

what about zodiac,did he make the cut this round

shujinko probably learned his moves from the characters that taught him them. i doubt shang tsung is related to shujinko.
