Well, I wasn't expecting this. I didn't think it a good idea, but I'll wait and see how its implemented.

I like the idea of using the character online and in the other game modes. Konquest should be rather interesting now.

You start out with a monk. Just a plain old monk. As you progress through Konquest mode, you learn techniques and earn extras such as adornments, clothing, etc. I personally think that this mini-game will be one of the reasons that this game will sell rediculously well. Expect records to be broken in sales. Even people who haven't played MK may pick this one up because of all the extras. All praise the MK development team for their hard work and dedication to their fans.

Does PSM say anything about what kind of customizations will be available, as far as clothes, hair, tattoos or markings, etc?

I wonder how much choice we'd have. Hopefully it won't be something like "Create A Character" and in miniscule print..."with only the real characters' bodies, faces, etc." That would suck. It sounds totally sweet right now though! I can't wait to look into it!

The only thing I would like out of "customize a character" would be the ability to train your character in your choice of fighting styles. Even if you can only choose 2 at a time...

That would definately open up a LOT in gameplay!

If this is the case, don't ever expect to see me online with a normal character.

That's great news... I liked that option a lot in the wrestling games I've played. I hoped it would be added into an MK game but I never thought it would happen.
