On Glitches

On another matter. Monk, you mentioned yesterday that you were getting abuse in the lobby because of A/C. I got the same thing from one of the players but I don't remember his name. Even though I partially use then, I think the glitches used in the arena is now reaching a new height. I've always liked a straight up battles. No counter-picking, mix of high and low tier characters and minimum glitch play. But when all those factors are thrown out the window, it makes some characters as bad as KAKs. There are now so many partial infinities it's crazy! We all use glitches to enhance our play but I think it's important to balance it out.

This guy hatin and quitted cuz i once did one 33 directly into a combo.(the one with mavado me LIKE MUCH!!lol)
Then he sees he looses and he quits and starts talkin crap in the lobby like"cheater,liar",etc.... even he does infinites his own with Jade hotaru Kenshi......His Sareena and Jarek are quite good actually for a scrub....
So i found out a couple of his IDS. Dont care if he reads this, hes a total SCRUB. He is: XIIX,PASTA,ICE, VOGON and probably so many more.Maybe that tooth u played earlier Trax, was also him?..

In regards to the air cancelling, I've only done it versus one person outside of our circle and he did not complain. I've tried versus others but it failed but got no abuse about it. It may be best to relegate to play without them to avoid hassle. That PASTA guy seems two faced. If he continues with infinites, just don't play him.
Beware of CHUCKY aka MRJAKEL. He's trying to use Kenshi's infinite to win matches.

I have no respect for that whosoever has more than 3 fairly new IDs and is not man enough to say who he really is. I'm seeing more of that lately.

I invited Tooth to play me with blood and death turned off, but he said turned me down consitently. Leaving those opinions on improves lag advantage and if you're a partial infinity player, it's like you hit a jackpot. And yes, Tooth is reading this and even more of a punk because he has no balls to reply.

Also, I played Hazard and after losing crazily in a series to 10, he quited on YES/NO screen and started saying shit in the lobby about how I cheat. He then came back he reverted to just Movado and Noob. So he got 3 straight wins and left. So when he got back to the lobby, he said I was fair because he'd won 3-0. It was almost too funny how he changed his opinion so fast.

Apart from Tgrant, Monk, VJ and Hellx (only active players), PS2 PAL is a very sad server to be on. We have others from here but they don't play the game as much as they used to.

Yeah, you are right about that Trax, but sometimes you have to let go of some things. But not MK!
I seldom have time to play nowadays, unfortunately I must say. I have to get up early every day now, and most of you guys play late in the evening. But I wont leave this game permanently.

You're definitely right on that, DP. I STILL complain about AC and 33s. As a matter of fact, I hate any combo that takes over 45% damage because I think it's BS. But lately my hands have been forced to accept them because I would lose a series here on PS2 and XBOX because I won't accept them. It forms an unfair playing ground and I've been a victim of that until now. To make a compromise, I use A/C half 112,11cs44444combo. NOT 112,113cs4444,up 112,113cs 4444 etc.

Furthermore, the throw glitches; almost everyone here use that consistently again.

And adding to that, if guys would play only high tier characters to get series, it makes even harder to play an open series the way I would like to.

And here is one last thing. There are so many good players now in the lobby with new IDs. So it makes it annoying when you don't know who's who and you're left to play guessing game and you can almost guarantee it's people from this circle.

Here is one thing I would say about ACs tho! It have definitely balanced the field against KAK users. 90% of the time I plug in, I only get to play KAK users and it's high time I gave them something back RAW!

A/C is not actually rocket science. I did it at the 3rd time of trying so I wouldn't say it's obscure. But if there's anyone here that 's ready to play me without glitching, then look me up and you're bound to get a good clean match!

PS: Please post opinions on this shit to make the com on PS2 better. I'd like to hear from Tgrant, VJ and Monk because you guys are the most active players lately. I want to know what Tgrant has to say especially because we both denounced AC but accepted them around the same time.

Accepted what? I started to learn how to do them in order to fight fire with fire. They get used versus me, I'll use them back. I do find it fun to use them though. But I see some concentrate too much on getting these things out rather than the game itself. Monk would be the best example here and that's probably what's throwing your game off, dude. I myself use them on those characters who I feel it necessary to use it for. You don't see me trying to air cancel at every opportunity with Kung Lao. I'll mix it up with a simple ground combo dependent on the situation. It's all about playing smart. There's no point knowing how to wield a glitch if you cannot use it effectively. the same would go for any weapon.

I definitely dig those points you've touched on, Tgrant. You've summed it nicely. Fight fire with fire.

Trying AC and other crazy stuff has definitely threw my game off badly and I'm still reaping the adverse effect. I used to be every efficient with my style of play. Apart from Ty, I would say HJS is probably the most effective player I've played lately. He doesn't do any fancy stuff but he still gets the job done.

Also, I actually rarely do ACs except when I'm playing as Raiden, Kira, Lao and Havik. Furthermore, my roster list is way too deep for me to depend on AC, high tier any glitch to get a series win but I do agree that ACs are fun especially when I'm Raiden.

And that is precisely why we excel. Sometimes the best course of action is the simplest. I said it before I even started using air cancel, the objective is to get high damage quickly. And for most characters, this can be done with simple ground work and effective mix ups. Examples being Noob, Sareena, Mavado, Sheeva, Jade and others. Note they're not all top tier.

ACs and 33s are fine by me.
But if u really dont like em, than lets not use any of those infs on eachother anymore. Like Jades Throw. I hate that one
I thought we discussed this ACsome time ago.. --- Kilik, one 33 with mavado continuing with 114(weapon), makes u get in air easilier to chain ur combo i think and gives some extra damage which is always good. But yea for most of the chars its better to stay focused on the "important"things. and thats what i forget sometimes...

Oh yeah, I have seen KILIK use that one before.

The only thing I would say is that I wouldn't bitch so much about one or two glitches but if someone plays the same character to utilize whatever advantage, then I think it becomes wack and makes me want to stop playing.

The best way to retain the excitement is to mix it all up and learning more characters is best way to do that.

Air Cancelling is good:
Some characters have 50% combos by nature,
A/C gives the weaker characters 45% combos as well.
It kind of balances the game, since A/C combos rarely pass 50% damage.

(well unless you do the two kick infinite Air Cancel..)
