We've seen a lot of death traps/stage fatalitys, but I can't really see the diference between them, from what we saw I can tell that the meat grinder is a death trap and the sky tower as well as the molten press, but what about the one when the character falls into the spike?

we saw it working in both ways, in the middle of a fight the character gets knocked and dies (death trap), and we also saw the character getting knocked after the annoucer says finhish him(stage fatality).

I'm a bit confused, I can't really see the difference between them...

I think that death traps aresome kind of MK ring outs.

Well death treaps are a ring out yes. But they can be done any time in the fight. In the beginning, middle, or even end when the announcer says Finish Him/Her. So when you saw the Death TRap happen at the end of a round, its was a death trap and not a stage fatal.

Death traps are stage fatalitys they are both if you saw the video clip of sindel getting knocked off the sky temple she lands through the spike on the screen it says fatality same with the other tower.

Yeah, the decorated ring outs are crap. If your opponent is finished, make it fucking end the match. Mine will be set to "off" as well.

I do not think that death traps are stage fatalities. Maybe they are though. I always thought that you have to do some kind of a combo in a particular stage to do something to the opponent.

well the game is still being worked on, maybe they will either add real stage fatals, or make it so the death traps can only be done on the final round?

Yeah I agree with you guys. Also when you impale someone... in the next round the weapon just disappears.

Ok, I have a question. You can perform deathtraps anytime, but only if you are near a deathtrap.
But can you perform a stage fatality when the announcer says "finish him / her" if you are nowhere near it? In previous MKs you could perform a stage fatal anywhere on screen. What about now?

Yeah most likely you can preform them when the announcer says finish him/her. I think tho...Hopefully

I think the death traps/stage fatalities should be left to the last round where you here the words "FINISH HIM/HER". To knock somebody into the grinder or smasher and have them return for the next round. WTF is this? Not to mention that there will be an level where and Ice Worm eats you. Explain that one.

And yes there will be an DT w/an Ice worm.

I rather stage fatalities as they can be more creative. The death traps seem to be a cheap way of winning. My friends will latch on to the death traps and always use them against me.sad
