i really like the song Immortal by Adema. It went well with the plot of Deadly alliance. I feel we need another strong song to go with the plot. If any of the idea form these threads are used i feel a song called Co-Depentent by Adema would work just as good. also Eightminutesupsidedown by 36 crazyfists would sound good. (i dont know if i'm getting too heavy or not)

I hope MK6's music is done by Midway. I didnt really see how Adema's song was used or way it was put into MK:DA. I mean it isnt like you heard Adema's the music at anytime during fighting in MK:DA. End the end I hope the music dude from the past MK games does the theme song.

ya i mean that song wasn't really in the game or the theme it was kinda just there.. they need old school theme music!! and then some thing dark and heavy during the fights.

whoever posted not falling yes, amazing . that song has about everythign you can think of for the game demons that drag me down(losing)
I...I stand not falling not crawling(when your down but not out, giving you motivation to get back up and kick some ass, good contender in my opinion

other potentials sould be KsE - when darkness falls, if anyone knows metal or has the freddy Vs jason soundtrack, its a great song, starts with a scream(not a pussy adeam one) and then goes heavily with a breakdown of melodic choruses

Captain Planet had a cool theme song. Midway should use that.

Yeah I wish, and I would love the X-Box version to have that, as I have been supporting it since MKDA and with an actual marketing idea, but they won't do it. Besides if you want music in the background, umm play your audio device and turn off game music, dont tell Microsoft this because this idea seems to work not only on PS2 and Cube, but even some games on older consoles!

Rob Zombie has awesome music. I would like to have him do some stuff for MK6.

The type of music I would really like would be something that sounds like Dark (scarry sounding) orchestra with an oriental hint to it.

With the drums, and Possibly with some munks chanting in the background like when liu kang fought shang tsung in the MK1 movie.

They could even have someone yell Mortal Kombat! at the begining of the song, then BAM the loud ass drums start playing. Then the rest of the music builds up slowly.

Powerful orchestra music like what you would hear for a Lord of the rings movie, or for Gladiator.

When you hear it play you get all pumped up.

Can't go wrong with Twiztid!
The only good bands I've heard suggested to do the song are Slayer and Cradle Of Filth. 'Cause lets face it, Adema sucks and are not meant for Mortal Kombat, the song sucked also. Maybe you like Adema but they do not fit into Mortal Kombat. I always imagined Mortal Kombat music to be done be heavy/death metal bands and such. Just have real loud fast music aka Metal. Mudvayne is not metal and neither is Rob Zombie, sorry. Nu-Metal is NOT Metal. If a band does a theme for Mortal Kombat, they should make a brand new one, not just hand over an oldie. For the Soundtrack behind battles and such, sure. I think like during Fatalities, the music should get louder and you should be able to choose the song in the background if they keep the profile stuff.

But anyway, but the theme. If Midway gets one of their own to make the music for it then it needs to be heavy and such. Not techno-y or anything. But my suggestions for Bands that should do the theme are Lamb Of God, In Flames, Slayer, Cradle Of Filth, Amon Amarth, Deicide... ya know, a good Metal band. Those are some more mainstream bands, but that's not the point. Who agree's that it should be a Metal band that does the theme?

They just need to find a decent band to cover Techno Syndrome and not curse us with another piece of Nu Metal garbage.
