And, who said a game has to be original with every new release to keep up the pace? last time I counted, tekken, SF, and all the other fighters out there didn't have ANYTHING new to them at all. What was the last most noteworthy SF game that came out, alpha 3? fun game yeah. anything ORIGINAL in it? fuck no.

MK started fatalities. It is the greatest addition to a fighting game ever. I get to kill my opponent at the end of a round, nothing more satisfying than that. MK's characters are also extremely original, the design is UNMATCHED compared to any other game. These are the two main reasons that I play Mortal Kombat. Like it or not.

If so then you can give me a detailed review as to why the gameplay blew. As for me, I played the first EX a little, and enjoyed it somewhat. Got boring fast with nothing but the same old street fighter it has always been. As for 2 and 3, i played 3 for about 5 minutes before thinking i was going to puke. Never played part 2, so I can't say there.
Doesn't matter, most gaming reviews from IGN pretty much some up what I think. They seem to think like me. I can pull up their review of EX3 if you'd like. And yes, PLEASE treat us ALL to your endulging views as to why SF is so much superior to MK in every aspect. Yes. If the game got national play it would be an indication as to how popular game was. UMK3 was the last MK to get played in arcades all over america. I was looked at as a better revision of MK3. It offered a wider array of characters to use to counter act some of the BS in MK3. Also, at the time of it's release it was not reallychallenged by a lot of other fighters.

I think it even beat out MK4 in national play.
