I don't believe so, but I hope he isn't. It would ruin the majesty of fighting him in the end of the game if anyone could just pick and use him.

I hope he isnt either. But if for some crazy reason they decide to make him playable, it should be a watered down version. Powerhouse characters just take the fun out of the game.

No I don't want him playable, nor do I think they will make him playable. BUT if he is, you'll probably have to complete the whole game 100% or something..

There's a high probability that he wont. Look at past MK games.. No boss has been playable in a normal MK game (except MKT which incorperated all)

I hope he isnt playable in any kind of way. If he is, it would ruin his whole aspect of being a boss, and he wouldnt seem powerful anymore if everyone got to play as him. The DK and sub boss SHOULDNT be playable at all. As a matter a fact, IMO, i think some super secret character shouldnt be playable either just like in MK2, if we end up having major secret characters.

Not at all. We havent seen a boss we couldnt use since mk3. Shinnok might have been cooler if we couldnt have played him, and quan chi and shang tsung werent intimidating eiher

i think he should be playable but not so easily accessed..To play as him u should like have to complete the whole game on its hardest levels with every fighter.But i also think he should watered down if he was playable

If he were to be playable, I think it should be via some insansely difficult code or event trigger that is not released until the game has been out for quite some time. To me, this would stir up memories of Reptile in MK1.

Amen Temp! I didn't like the fact that Shinnok, Quan Chi, and Shang Tsung were playable initially, and if the Dragon King isn't playable, it'll be like the original fighters we grew up with. If he would become playable after beating X amount of the game, or a code, I'd be satisfied.

I think that he shouldn't be playable. It's kinda cool playing against someone you can't pick. Moloch gave us a little nestalgia in this direction. If they do make him playable it should either be a download or a super secret Konquest mode reward.

I want him playable. Granted I think you should have to beat the game with every character, and then beat Konquest to make him selectable.

I want the Dragon King as a playable character.

Even if he is a playable character I wouldn't use him..I just hope that he isn't a playable character online. No problem if he's playable on solo games, but it just wouldn't be right for some jerk to use him on an online tournament.

I hope he is playable, but in order to unlock him, I think the player should go through a set of really strict criteria. For example, in order to get to face Reptile in MK1, the player had to:

-See if there was anything flying in the sky past the moon. This would happen randomly.
-Fight at the pit.
-Get a two flawless victories.
-Not block at all.
-And end the match with a fatality.

In MKD, to access the DK, a player should have to get a double flawless and do a fatality on the Stage prior to the fight with the DK. There should be some sets of random criteria that they'd have to fill, and blocking wouldn't allow them to fight the DK. I hope he's not playable online, either.
