Do you guys think he'll retain that move? I mean, many returning characters from MKDA lost a lot of their key special moves.
It'd be great to see the whirlwind spin in 3D, assuming it returns......

I hope it returns! That move MADE Kabal a great character. And for the people that don't like the move or think's that the move sucks.... they only think it sucks because they have had the move done to them many times and got thier butt's WHOOPED! Seriously though, it SHOULD return. He should also have his purple fireball. I think they'll scrap the rest of his moves and give him new ones.

yeah, that move should definitly return. Wouldn't be kabal without it. It was a good way to position yourself for a combo (and making people crazy smile )

Yes, I believe he will have it. It was a good move. I don't want to see his ground blade move though.

OOO no.... I fear that move, Kabal's whirlwind gives me very bad memories back in the arcades lol. I'm still down for that move to return so I could redeem myself from the humiliation I faced when that move was used on me.

Boon said special moves would be focused on more this game. I can almost guarantee that he will have it lol.

Exactly, that move made Kabal the unique character he is. Its like Scorpions Spear, he must have that. That and his groundsaw, i dont know why nobody liked the groundsaw, it was a crazy ass move. I loved how you could do the whirlwind spin in the air too, it was great and a must have... along with his hookswords. Cant wait to see his new specials (that goes for everyon else too).

He must have the whirlwind spin! The move was awesome and added to his unique qualities. It's an awesome move and would look cool in MKD. I hope he has his projectile and I think the ground saw might be left out. It's notreally needed.

Those of you who said you lost because of the whirlwind spin move need to learn how to block. The move had a serious lag time when blocked and was very easy to see coming. I don't mean to flame there or anything, it's just my opinion.

Couldn't agre with you more, tgrant.

Plus, honestly, how well do you think a ground saw move would work in 3D? In 2D it was fine, I actually liked it. But with all the options we have now, I just don't see its return in the 3D world.

I just hope that if he has the whirlwind attack, we get to see the characters spinning while they are in the whirlpool smile but I guess some people will say that it will be too cartonish if we see people spinning inside the whirlwind!!??? confused

Yeah, I'd like to see people spinning inside the whirlwind as well. Like not make it too obvious, but inside the wind or whatever you can somewhat see the color of the character spinning around.

To answer the thread he has to have the whirlwind spin man. Thats like subzero with no freeze balls or scorpion without his impressive spear.

Anyway, about that ground saw, I don't think it would work in 3d either. Speaking of it, eventhough I haven't played mk3 in a long while (I still remember it like it was yesterday though), I have always wondered what the hell the ground saw was or how in invoked it. You know, some move in mk are explanable like raiden was the god of lightnening so he could use it in any way he liked or subzero could gather up the negatives or whatever with the air round him and eventually make it a projectile of ice. What I am saying is where does Kabal's saw come from, is it like a remote controled machine, or his ki planted under the earth, or his hook swords spining in a straight like on the ground with him controling it with his mind or something. I have nevr figured it out but I usually don't care that much to ask or think too hard often.
