Do you think Kano is dead?

I have been waiting for an update regarding any news of Kano for this new game. I had seen some clues regarding his fate from the images I have seen and the beginning movie for the new Mortal Kombat game.

It appears that Sonya had been defeated in Outworld along with the other warriors that fought with her. Kano was of high rank among the Deadly Alliance so do you think he was at the place where the final battle took place?

What if Kano was killed by Mavado? I had seen an image of Mavado in the prison cell, so do you think Mavado was caught by Onaga before he could get his hands on Kano? Or did Onaga catch him after he had killed him?

I also seen an image of a new character named Kira? Do you think Kano called for support to aid him in Outworld? Or do you think Kira is making her debut to avenge the death of Kano?

Kano has always been a surivor through all of the Mortal Kombat games he has been in, I hope that Kano did not get killed off by the Red Dragon, and that he could finish his rivalry with Sonya and fight in one last battle to death against her like it was staged to happen many years ago.

I don't think he is dead, and if he is dead, he's not REALLY DEAD if u kno what I mean..
they are going to find a way to revive him...
Anyway, I think h was arrested by sonya/Jax in DA

Amen to that, if in fact Kano did die in this one, it woulnd't be that hard for him to comeback.. death generally means an excuse to sideline a character for a game. So while he maybe "dead" there is still hope for your man kano in the future.

Maybe.

Sonya has finished him too many times.

I think Mavado did it for her in mkda.

Does it bother anyone else that a character like Mavado accomplishes so much in his debut game (Killing Kabal, killing Kano, wounding Kenshi, establishing the Special Forces and Lin Kuei as enemies), then disappears. I really hope he is iehter a Super Unlockable, or plays a large role in MK7.

And to answer the question, I think he is schelduled to be dead, but they can always get out of it by saying Kano planned the assault, and somehow survived using his cunning.
