Yea, but this time the Ninjas dont all look the same. That was the major problem people had with it in MK3, Palate Swap. Now the have more personalized looks and are independant. The have their own unique looks and styles and the whole Ninja Fest thing happening again is impossible.

I'd rather have Rain then someone like Bo Rai' Cho to fight with

I liked Rains attacks, he had some nice special moves, even if Raiden can do lightning and etc.

Since most of the ninjas are looking totally DIFFERENT, i wouldnt mind seeing Rain return. I would want him to be a general in edenia, and i would want him to to look like a knight with dark purple shades. It would also be cool if he looked like a samurai, kind of like a knight, but somewhat different in features.

His weapon would probably be a kind of special sword, and i wouldnt mind a shield either.

One things for sure. His story would need MAJOR improvements. Theres been a huge gap between time now, and rain has been gone for god knows how long. They need to say where he has been and what happened when he tried to assasinate shao khan. His story needs to get bigger and have better potential. With all this, i wouldnt mind seeing him return. He could protect kitana and sindel.

I would mind if Rain came back. Pallete swap or not, Rain is still considered a ninja. And Ermac, Noob Saibot, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion already incorporate this look.

I would like if people created new concepts of characters based on mythology and foreign religion.

I don't want Rain to fill up a space in the character roster but I would like to see him included in Konquest mode to hold some missions for you to complete.

eh, no. You see, he was never evil in the previous games, and it isn't quite likely he'll be evil in the next one. Actually, unless he's part of the deception, MKDA actually points to him being good.

But back on subject. I seriously hope Rain doesn't return. The only character more boring than Rain is meat, and not even by a long shot.

To me the ninja thing isn't just about looking the same, it's about the stigma of originating as a pallette swap, a cheap way to add in a new character.

Rain just seems so worthless and unoriginal, and if characters like him start edging out more interesting and original characters, it'll really piss me off.

Leave Rain in the past. It would be nice to see some more new characters. . . I always thought Dhalism from SF series would be pretty cool to see in MK - of course I don't mean the guy from SF, but someone similar to him - give me some super agile characters - maybe some that move kind of slowly, but inflict a ton more damage - in DA everyone seemed to be very evenly paced - gimme something different!

I think they could bring him back, but make him look nothing like a Ninja. The only hint could be that he wears purple. I think he should look like Reiko or Kenshi, give him more of a General look. I don't think we've ever seen a playable male Edenia before or after Rain, so if they patch up his story, he could make a great character.

I think they should have him return as one of Kahn's last remaining minions. Maybe they could have some storyline like he fought in the tournament iin disguise during MK4, and watched at a safe distance with his master in Deadly Alliance.

If all ninja's are getting individual appearance and moves, then all ninja's need to return!

I you are going to change everything anyway, why not invent an all new character?

Rain never was that important anyway.

I wouldn't mind having Rain back, but only if there are absolutely no other good characters to put into MK:D. Even though he was only really cheap with the Run button, I still can't see him being put in the new game with the current ninja roster we already have. I'm just glad Ermac's back.

Definitley want Rain back.

I don't care who they bring back, as long as the story jives with the history of MK to date.
