Im going to play MK II more when MKD comes out, sure Ill be spending several months playing MKD when it comes out but I have been playing MK2 just about everyday since it was released in the arcade, my home systems, and now mame and I dont really see MKD topping MK II, there is a certain atmosphere about MK II that I dont believe could ever be reproduced, but maybe that is just me and I will be proved wrong, but I doubt it. Though dont get me wrong, I am in no way dissing MKD, because I do think it is going to be an excellent game, just not topping MK II. My 2 cents, later.

Someone here said that it has no chance of being better then MK2 unless they address some major gameplay issues, ok my response to this remark MK:D is not MK:DA so you have idea how this game is going to play. At E3 the videos and screens we saw 20% finished. Your saying they need to address major gameplay issues, funny how you all know so much about a game you won't even have a chance to play for months. MK:D will be way better then MK2 it may not be as big of a leap frm MK:DA to MK:D as it was from MK1 to MK2 but honestly how many of you are going play MK2 more then MK:D when it comes out. Everyone needs to wait and play the game before they decide it needs major gameplay changes

The only chance this game could be better then mk2 if it was in 2-d and didnt have bo or lei in it.MKD is still going to be a fun game but mk3-d doesnt work it just doesnt mk4 is a perfect example. Its just to cartoonish and looks like every other fighter out.Now if mk stayed in 2-d it would be unique and it would prove that2-d games can take on any 3-d fighting game.
