As much as I hate them both I'm going with Green Arrow, at least he can do more than talk to fish and swim.

So there's 2 Aquamans???

(Since noone else responded), in a round about way, yes.
The "original" Aquaman was never actually Aquaman, and... It just really isn't worth talking about... It's hard to gauge the staying power of the new guy, but I think it's safe to say in keeping with the buzz word, iconic, it would be the classic version, if anything.

But really, who actually expects Aquaman to make the cut?...

Hmm, rather interesting. I'm more familiar with A.C., he was pretty badass in Smallville.

Actually, you were familiar with Orin... The new guy is the real Arthur Curry!

... It's a flaming bag of bullshit, really.
But so is Smallville... Oh yeah! Dawson's Creek with Aquaman! That's what the character needed to stop being a joke!

Hah! I'll rag on Aquaman like any other sane, capable human being, but if they did it well and the cast were bigger, I'd totally go for Aquaman. That small cast is such a ball buster; commitment to quality, or not...

I like the small casts. With MKT was okay. With MKA on the other hand a large cast created more problems than it solved. I'm glad they're going back to 20-22 character rosters. It gives them more time to focus on the real important things.

It's A.C.

Smallville is a great show and they've only tweaked a few things, most people aren't even aware that Lex and Clark in one comic actually were friends as teens....glasses

It's awesome!grin

Yeah -- in five years!!!

As a fairly well rounded human being, it always bugs me when people assume I'm making some sort of arbitrary fanboy complaint about an adaptation.

Smallville is painful television all on it's own merits! If it had a tongue-in-cheek self-awareness, it might actually rival Passions... tongue

What do you mean 5 years? lol....

Yeah....lol you're right Smallville is so painful it only lasted 8 seasons, much longer then any other DC or Marvel show prior to that might I add.

Yeah. And the Spice Girls still hold music records around the world... There's no accounting for taste.

Let's be honest though, I'm clearly biased toward Passions...

Well, the difference being music world is different then the TV world, for one and secondly. Spice Girls are kind of dead...Superman/Smallville, kind of notglasses

You're right, there is no accounting for taste when it comes to the good shows.

Passions might be entertaining and show more "skin" but they don't really cover the whole Superman pre-era or super powered villians ya know?grin
