I liked the idea of having the Vampire race. We've seen humans, shokans, mutants, gods, sorcerers, cyborgs, spectres, centurians. With the MK world having alot of messed up races it's nice to see something new. I like vampires and really would like to see another in MK:Deception but I don't think we will.

I didnt like the idea of having vampire race in mk and i dont like Nitara.
It just that vampires dont fit wite a martial arts action game.

I love the Vampires, and I believe so that we will have a vampire in the MKDeception, and as one saw in ending of Raiden, although I am not so safe that there are Onis in the MKDeception.

At least the Oni were original. Vampires are RIP-OFFs.

I love the idea of HAVING vampires, I just didn't like how they implemented it... I mean Nitara, is just too... human. I feel as though they should have a completely new vampire in Deception but one that would do the series justice, extremely wretched, evil, hot as hell looking (literally). I think they should exploit all the things that make vampires cool/scary and just put one in the new MK. Oh yea, if Nitara is to return, she needs a major overhauling in design and moves.

I think its cool to be introduced to new species and races. But i do agree, i think nitara shouldve looked more vampiric with red eyes and such. She didnt look to evil and intimidating to me.

I like the vampires. I do have to agree about Nitara's look though. They should make her more gothic (like her 2nd outfit). In her first outfit she looked like a pirate

Perhaps they should add a pale vampire with a coat or mantle like Mavado, that would be cool.

Did we really need new races in MK:DA ? I felt it was too late to add them. And vampires ? It's strange because in MK:DA Nitara is the character I use the best , but I don't like her look or story much.

I love the introduction of the vampires. Nitara is a great character and had an excellent story. She looks great and is excellent in game. I agree that her look could be more gothic, but her alternate costume was pretty well done.

i think that a female vampire should look more like the one that was the main character in the underworld. vampires shouldn't have wings. she should be dressed all black (like mavados clothes) and they have to have a certain attitude.

I really have mixed thoughts about the Vampires in MK. Part of me says they have no place or belonging in the MK Universe (with the types of deities, emperors, sorcerers, enigmas, Oni, ninjas, and spectres, not to mention martial arts in which the game is centered mostly on, its more on a japanese mythology type level) the other part of me thinks they would kind of fit well with MK's dark nature, if done right.

Nitara looked hot and all, but I dont like Vampires with wings... thats the only gripe. To me it made her look to bulky and slow, and she didnt have the usual powers "normal" vampires have. To me I think the best incarnation of what a Vampire should be like in a video game was in the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver/Blood Omen series.

The main character Kain had many abilities, Telekenesis, leaping ability, turnining into mist, etc.. and no wings. They glide more than fly literally like a bat, and to travel long distances they turn into a swarm of bats. If they gave Nitara a revamped look and more vampiric powers then I wont have a problem. I think the males should look more demonic and monsterous appearence-wise than the females, in case the rumored new vampire in MK:D is a male.

yes i think that they are rip-off characters too, i mean its stupid to think that vampires are from another realm when we beleive them to be damned souls. whats next werewolves?

Vampires are cool, but that's no excuse for Nitara to live.

I like Nitara, and I like vampires. When it comes to bringing monsters into the MK franchise, I'm cool with that as long the monsters are from another realm outside of Earth.

I think it's a good ideal to have vampires in MK.But they could have made her a little scary for gawd sakes.I would love to see Boon add another vampire and make him or her more evil looking.And a werewolf could be a cool character as well,hell im a little sick of seeing just humans and ninja's all the time let's add something a little new!

i don't like the vampires in this game, but it could be done well if Boon does the story right.

Vampires will fit at home, i also think (Splicers) should be in MK:D.

The idea of vampires in MK might seem unoriginal, but it could really work with some original ideas put into them. The ideas of their realm, their weaknesses, their abilities, etc., could really decide if it is a good idea or not.

But personally I'm all for it.

I think Vamps fit well into the MK plot. It just adds more diversity and opens up more plot lines. I get tired of having just humans in every game. I think it was a good idea, and I would like to see more species put into MK.

I agree, I don't know how to explain it, but there is just something about a vampire being in Mortal kombat that just does'nt fit.

Vampire doesn't bring anything new to the serie...

they can bite and they can spit blood...how ridiculous is that? Nitara is the worse new character in MKDA IMO, I just didn't like her.
