This is sort of a waste of a thread.

I mean of course there's tons of people that actually like the game, even the many dissapointed with it. I'd say more people like it then hate it.

I actually really like it. For me, it does a ton of things right that are worth mentioning:

* Kitana doesn't lose her fans once they hit.
* Only one color of koin is much less frustrating
* Crypt is labelled
* Konquest is more fun
* Motor Kombat is a good time
* Chameleon's implementation is great
* Reintroduction of old characters like Stryker (and having him not suck)
* Separation of Noob & Smoke
* Great stage fatalities
* Kreate a Fighter is well done, especially for their first shot at it
* Online play works well which is very tough to do w/ a fighter
* Aerial Kombat is fun

Overall, I think they deserve a ton of credit, the overall package is insanely fun. The lack of storyline in a fighting game is a minor point to me actually.

I love MKA!! It's the best MK game since UMK3.

Now, when I say this, i am speaking generally from a gameplay perspective.. And the fact that just about every character from the MK Universe is there is also a huge plus.

The story is very, very much lacking. I mean really, what is the point of giving every character an ending but no bios, no context, to put them in, that's just retarded. But generally speaking, MKA is one of my favs just because of the way it plays.

i think it could be a little more refined, yes.
But having all the characters, and KAK is what wins me over with this game.
i dont think any character should ever be missing from an MK game.

Things i think could be refined:
more than 1 KAK per profile
more arenas
Optional (as in you choose one) Classic Fatalities or KAF
More KAK options, items, etc.
A choice between Towers on arcade -it doesnt take long enuf to reach the top, and get to blaze.
Endurance mode

The story needs fixing too ...

Over all I like MKA, I'm just kinda disappointed with a few things. Especially Konquest mode. It wasn't nearly as fun as MKD's. Playing it felt more like performing a chore than playing a game.
The story was a little shallow. With no bios, and half-arsed endings.
KAK mode could've been alot deeper, and 1 KAK per profile kinda makes the whole mode pointless.

I love it. It's easily the best game since UMK3.

The only thing that gets me is the lack of story, and shitty endings. But its a fighting game - no big deal. The gameplay is finally great.

Overall I'm pleased with the game. Things like the new wake-up, parries, 2-d style air combat greatly improve over MKD's gameplay. I'm having a blast with the KaK, though I'm having difficulties getting photos of my characters on my PC. My camera and my adapter for my PC's TV card have just disappeared.

The game does have a few minor flaws such the non-existant story, characters missing trademark specials, and the KaK missing a large array of available specials. I'm really irrated that Goro just blantantly stole Kintaro's Tele-stomp. Damn Midway Goro fanboys.

The game is overall awesome. I own every game in the series and this ranks among the top three. The only thing i wish they had done different was put Trilogy instead of Ultimate MK as a minigame. It accents armageddon much better.

amazing game. just missing more characters in motor kombat and more tracks. chess woulda been nice to keep with 62 chars

although no more chess kombat is depressing and the KAK isnt formatted quite how i hoped it is very amazing! haha

This game has some major flaws but also ranks up there as one of my favorites.

Yes it is missing some things,but thats why the petition was made. I have to admit,62 characters in one game is cool,well........thats just about all I could think of.

Game play wise its a great outstanding and i love it the story really sucks but as long as they can fill us in on the story i am fine.
