I was a bit disappointed on how much similar he looked. I would have preferred a complete revamp of appearance, but I will admit that he does have a nice overall upgrade.

They gave him gold armor pieces, and changed the cloth scheme on his chest. Instead of forming a V(like almost every Ninja before now), it forms a curved "H".

he looks the same. I guess they thought they had a good design in MKDA (the rest of us know otherwise)

don't worry about it. Remember what Jax looked like in the first set of renders of MKDA? (the one of Jax Vs. Scorpion). Jax had the same look as he did in MK3, but was later changed. I'm sure they'll change Scorpion up some more. Just like they did in MKDA!

Yeah, you're right.. Well I have to see the whole game to see if he looks different..

i love his new DA look, at least with all the new advances it graphics and stuff the ninjas dont look so plain

MK1 he looked like sub zero only yellow (actually they were the same, just differnt colors so...)

Please keep in mind people that designs can change and MK6 is still far off. I think scorpions design will change.

well it may be his alternate. notice how in DA alot of the alternates for vet characters were their old costumes.

To extent, you're correct. But you must understand, those pics of Scorp and Jax were in the extremely early stages of MKDA's development. But in this case, the basic fundementals of the game appear to be finished. I do believe that the characters may receive some minor changes, but nothing drastic. What we see is pretty much what we'll probably get. But I could be wrong.

Anyway, as long as we have those gold shoulder plates, I'm happy.

It is also worth noting that MK6 uses the same engine as MK:DA, thus it is completely plausible that Team MK is simply using the MK:DA character models as placeholders while they line things up in terms of game physics, stage triggers, etc. The game is looking to be 8-9 months away still, so anything is possible.

Scorpion looked wicked in MKDA...if they keep the look, fine. If they give him a new look to go with it, even better. Who knows how many alts the characters may have? Maybe they'll keep the MKDA costumes for some returning characters along with their new ones. I certainly hope they have more alts than MKDA did...

i think they will change his new looks. after all, they're still working on the game.

actually ive watch this vid in high rez frame by frame and hes alot different from Mkda, and i have the high rez quicktime version and see alot what you guys cant, hes mask is different, he has shoulder armor now that looks way kool, hes vest is also differnt, and hes pant legs and shin guards etc, trust me when you see the high rez version you'll see what i mean:)

Although his new look is similar to the one in MKDA, it's not the same.
