Downloadable Content Idea

Since Downloadable has been confirmed, I think that they should make characters as downloads.

But, since it would probably take a long time to download a fully developed character, why don't they make them available as alternate costumes for existing characters.

They wolud have all the same moves and everything as the original character, just a different costume.
Like, Skins.

For the minor characters that didn't make it, i think it would be awesome to see them appear as skins.

not a bad idea. i do hope additional kontent would be free tho. a lot of downloadable add ons aren't worth what we pay for in other games. so for sixty bucks and free downloads, yeah i'm sold.

The only extra content I'd be interesting in downloading is more characters. I really couldn't give a shit about arenas and probably wouldn't bother with extra costumes.

Well...Im not really excited about dw content seeing as how I:

1.- Dont have a PS3

and

2.- When I get one, I might not get that system installed. Am I right to think its very expensive? (to get the connection to dw content)

But your idea sounds cool, but I honestly prefer original costumes for the chosen characters of the game, the others might get a chance in a sequel (yep, and a sequel is likely to happen if this game sells).

Yeah, I just had to say that. But this idea wouldn't be a bad one. I think it would be kinda cool to have characters be made out of nowhere all of a sudden for this game just to download to have a lot more characters to be featured in the game. Yeah, I like it a lot.

The whole idea of just slapping an extra skin on existing characters and passing it off as a new character is incredibly lame. Don't encourage the MK team's laziness. I want full-blown additional characters or nothing at all. I wouldn't mind some extra costumes as DLC, but please, don't try to pass that off as new characters. Two thumbs down, incredibly lame. If the MK team can't go the little extra mile to make up some new moves and actually make a new character, then they don't belong in the video game business.

Downloadable nothing, just make extra characters and arenas unlockable, I'm sorry but I don't feel like breaking my neck trying to download extra stuff.
