I think Superman is going to be overpowered

I heard Green Lantern if looking that way too... but that was just a rumor

Ive been hearing that Jax is one of the slower characters - but packs a hefty punch.

in my opinion Superman and Raiden are the best characters in the game... followed by subbie and scorp... Superman has alot of special moves, I love all of subbies new moves, Sonya also has alot of special moves... i hate Jax, but then again i always hated him

The MAN of STEEL, The Last Son of Krypton, Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound........OVERPOWERED !?! Surly you jest. my sarcasm knows no bounds. I kid though, I do share your concerns, i also wouldn't be surprised if The Big Red Cheese Captain Marvel was overpowered

but yeah the Big Red Cheese does look overpowered as well. No matter, I will slaughter them like a wolf and lamb.

Joker and Wonder Woman suck...

Flash, Darkseid, and Superman are God Tier, then Scorpion/Batman

I think some of the strongest characters so far that I have played as are:

-Flash
-Captain Marvel
-Sub-Zero
-Shang Tsung
-Raiden

I havn't really played as a few of the characters still, but from what I can tell, pretty much everyone is strong in their own way if used correctly. Some characters have better combo set-ups, whereas others have better special moves. Just my opinion of course. I personally like the Joker and find his moves to be very effective if used correctly.

but superman is definitely overy powered. he can just do to much. captain marvel isn't nearly as bad.

batman is a great character though, his combos are very easy to do and easy to transition into special moves, more so than other characters it seems like.

wonder woman is kind of sucky. although she does have some good specials. i don't really like catwoman either. distance seems to be a problem with her.

kitana is awesome, i beat the computer by doing that rolling move over and over and over and over again. i don't think that's an infinite though, an actual person might've been able to get out of it.

So far it looks like all of the characters have thier niche. From what I can tell by the little that I've been playing, Raiden, CM and Superman look very tough. Scorpion has an annoyingly safe Teleport move that juggles. GL can spam projectiles to no end. I have not been impressed with any of the Batmans or Jokers that I've fought yet. Kitana is also quite good, but takes a bit of finesse to pull off.

Wonder Woman does not suck. She does lack a good distance game, but when she closes in she is an absolute beast. I've yet to see anyone pull of more damage than her. She is one of the best up close by far. Lack of a good projectile or a way to close distance quickly keeps her from being one of the better characters.

Catwoman and Shang seem fairly weak to me, but anyone can win with them. The game seems fairly balanced. Supes, not surprisingly, has it all, including an infinite >.<

I haven't played as or against any good Sonyas, Subs or Deathstrokes so I can't comment on them.

Just my impressions from playing for a couple of days.

Also heard that Superman and Kitana are looking really tough

Is the Joker as weak as some are suggesting?

So far I've been able to hold my own best with Raiden and Jax. Mostly Raiden.

As I play the game more I really think that there's a major imbalance between some of the characters. Sub-Zero and Captain Marvel are my favorites, but I think they're both a bit overpowered.

If Supes is the only one with an Infinite thus far, I think we're in much better shape than we were the last few titles

I'm Captain Marvel every time online and just about everyone I play against is either Sub Zero or Scorpion. The only other characters I've fought against are Superman, Raiden, and Deathstroke. I think Captain Marvel is just as powerful as Superman, if not more because of his teleport.
