October is going to be nicknamed "marvelous month" to gamers with a PS2 and "Violent VG month" to the media and mothers. Both Deception and the new GTA will be released within one week of each other making that week sure pleasure. I don't know about you guys, but thats going to be a sweet ride. Holla!

the xbox version of the new gta game will be better, but they all suck after 15 minutes regardless of what system its on.

i think mk should be delayed to november, that way news groups will show soccer mom types creating the fake issue of video game violance and mk like da will be on the news that no one watches anymore

October 13th is a Wednesday, people. You might as well ask for it off in advance. I'm best friends with the manager of a GameStop up here, so I'll probably just pick up some Quiznos and sit in the back room until God, oops I mean the UPS guy delivers the game.

The people at EB might've just made that release date up themselves, for all we know. And they probably have, based on the vague "Fall 2004" announcement Midway's made. Really, there's no way of telling when it's going to be out before Midway themselves tell us it will, and even then things could change. So there's no real way of knowing exactly when the release will be until the game's out. :P

Anyway, I don't really give a damn about the release date craze as the game most likely won't be out here until early 2005...

release dates always change, look at tomb raider 6, it was due november 2003 and didnt get released until july 2004! could happen with mk6 but its unlikely, but u never know...

They did say something aboput being released in October.

my last web site said dec. 13, but thats still fall season, winter doesn't start till dec. 22, but i have a feeling they're right cause i would release my game up against either one of these two titles.

yeah well ign gamestore says that its shiping 10/1/2004 so just like the last one the release date will probobly end up changing

umm... is there really any difference between XBOX GTA and PS2 GTA as well as XBOX MK and PS2 MK. Personally, i see no difference whatsoever and i have both systems.I cant stand people that think XBOX/PS2 is greatest system because of the only fact that they have the system. Its not the graphics that make the system, its the games.

i think it's just a fake one, cuz they say the game will be launched on Quarter 4 2004, and not only on eb games but on gamespot, and if you do a litle bit of counting Oct 13th is exactly Mid fall so it's probably just a guessing of EBgames they decided to put that date because it's an even thate for the fall.................

I have all three of the majors gaming systems. As far as PS2 verse Xbox goes. I believe the Xbox is better because it can handle more things at once. No slow downs, better graphics and because it is basically a computer, there is no reason to buy a memory card. Which I find with PS2 i'm always running out of memory. As far as the release date of MKD I believe Midway has a cut off point for Ed Boon. Meaning they have to have the game done by this year. Like everyone else, I believe it will get delayed passed Oct. but no later than Dec.

Quizno's is pretty good stuff, man! They had a pretty stupid commercial with those dumb mice-type things singing stuff like, "WEE LOOVVEE THEE SUUUBBSS!!"

Anyway, I expected MKD to be out in mid to late October. We'll just have a nice summer, enjoy the USA kicking some behind in the Athens 2004 Olympics, and then, before you know it, MKD's release will draw nigh!
