I say lay him to rest,kenshi is the telekinetic man now with a better story line.his wasn't to bad,but it wasn't elaborate enough.

Kenshi is a damn handicapped warrior who was found injured in Outworld.. if he was better than Ermac he wouldn't have been injured. Kenshi is just like Jarek... a fill-in. Who's gonna say Jarek is better than Kano? I thought so. Ermac had a potential storyline, kenshi is just a damn Special forces agent, along with most of the kombatants. It's tired and retarded. You people are retarded as well if you think Kenshi is a great improvement over Ermac

Very good post...most people forget this...i wonder how midway addresses this? anyone know? has Boon ever said anything about this? they HAVE to give some kind of OK for a storyline twist like that in the movie...however they've never made a reference too it in any of the games...and how will they deal with this in the next movie? i think it would just be best if they would strike MKA from the MK storyline...and pretend it never happened, since it was such a god-awful movie...the whole Shinnok,Shao Kahn, Raiden family tree MIGHT have some kind of potential though...if it was executed in a BETTER film...with LESS characters to follow. Stop trying to cater to EVERY fan who has their own favorite character...and just FOCUS on a small group...like the first one...if you can incorporate a good storyline...people will watch it...and then you can bring in the OTHER characters as major players...when you kill off other baddies.

Anywho...back to the topic...Kenshi is NOT thin with story...he's NOT just a "special forces agent" he joins the special forces in hopes of finding Shang Tsung and getting his revenge on Shang for tricking him into opening that well of souls, and thus blinding him...so he DOES have a deeper storyline than "just a special forces agent"

personally I like Ermac, for some unknown reason (maybe I like orange, and yes he is an orange ninja if anyone has played this game in the arcade and not on a TV which colors are not true colors). Anyways, although I thought Ermac had a better potential story, and the idea of warriors souls combined to make him, Kenshi deffinately is the best looking MK character in my opinion. The idea of a blind guy beating the shit out of people is pretty damn cool, and I just think his costume is a winner (his alt. is a joke). They should bring Ermac back, with a new look, and just make him have more advanced telekentic powers to make him different (and he always has the force ball and teleport punch).

Ermac: A ninja with the exact same design(only red) as all the other ninjas from UMK3. He is a gathering of souls who has telekinetik powers, for no aparant reazon and serves Shao Kahn, also for no aparant reazon.
Kenshi: Kenshi comes from a long line of brave and great swordsmen. He is tricked by Shang Tsung into releasing the souls of his ancestors, going blind. He enters the Special Forces Outerworld investigation agency in order to find Shang Tsung and have his vengeance. Kenshi's design is completely new and original, not to mention the badass katana.

Basically, Ermac's a lame character, while Keshi's a kickass character. NOTHING u say kan make Ermac better then Kenshi. NOTHING. Kenshi has more moves, better storyline, better design... basically, Kenshi rox and Ermac sucks.

oh, i bet the mistake will come. that's right, he's a fuke, a axadent, a by-produt, a something out of a fallure of something else. the red ninja (who dosen't have fire powers like i thot wen i 1th saw him, i coun't read, my dad said he was "ember" to make it sond like i was smart) was a technecal error, i deceed to, wen 1th testing my skill with compters, to take apart a old mk1 arcade macene, and i tracked down (useing a old cerutbord book on how thay work and stuff.) the one that my head called ember, i hadn't play mk in arcades in five years, so i cuod find this ninja that was as eluse as it's real-life conterparts. ermac, as wen discoved his real name, i told dad thax 4 giving me convadentse in myself, is like aofritetis, you get it wen you get older, some "redness" leaks into sropeon's program (i then said outloud "DUDE, I AM A GENUIS", wen my mom saw the flaw in the cecut bords, she got me ungroded) and turns the undead ninja into a new, far cooler form, things just get better with age. as for the name it stads 4 "error macos".
oh, yeah, the "new" (UMK3) ermac is a little joke from boon when he fond out, and gave him mind powers, and thuse was born the red ninja, DUS-EX-MACENA!
