Wow, Ironsmoke, that was the most indecipherable block of text I have ever encountered! Geez! I barely got what you were saying. It was true though. a 1 in about 1,000,000 glitch in MK1 arcade machines would pit you against "ERMAC" instead of Scorpion. It referenced the wrong textures and displayed an Error Macro Message, i.e. Ermac Boon and Tobias liked the idea and put him into the power rangers game, UMK3.

If they gave Ermac an original look and some unique moves(telekenetic, but not different than Kenshi's in style), then he can become one of the best characters ever. His story was actually somewhat original. Kenshi is good, but Ermac was a much better concept with more depth. Nuff said.

And one more thing... Anihilation is the worst possible reference source for storyline. It means absolutely nothing. It was badly done and Boon/Tobias had nothing to do with it. Ermac would have handed a big box of asses to everyone if they had stuck to his character story.

ermac needs better powers

ERMac is cool matter of fact all ninjas and robots are cool no matter how many different ninjas and robots and storylines they have they all rule UMK was the best 2d mk game!

yeah i think people would prefer Ermac simply becuase he has a snazzy ninja suit, its stupid as hell i know but im almost one of those people. kenshi is a all round better fighter/character-if he wasnt i dont think boon and co would of put him there to begin

I'd really like to see Ermac in MK:TE and I'd like to see him in MK6 as a hidden character for both games. Zentile, you have been sadly misinformed about Ermac. The reason why Ermac serves Shao Kahn is because Shao Kahn manipulated the souls that formed into Ermac for his own tyrannical purposes, thus making a powerful warrior that shows alliegance only to Shao Kahn. And I'm sure you know that Ermac showed his graditude for being freed by Kenshi by teaching Kenshi the secrets of Telekinesis. As for Ermac's look, I'd like for him to have a distinctive looking ninja suit and he needs more special moves. I'm not sure what his fighting styles would be but I'm thinking on the lines of a form of Ninjitsu/Ninjutsu along with a Karate and/or Kung Fu style/etc.
