Ermac is not a fire-ninja... he's a telekinetic ninja...

Well, rain seems to have an unknown element. He has a bizzare arsenal of moves, from striking a lightning bolt, to shooting a zap orb. My guess is that rain has some abilities to control the wheather and such, and use wheather attacks. I remember reading he was one of kahns most deadliest assassins.

But in a fight between him and ermac,i think ermac would win. Teleknesis is a very powerful skill, and i bet ermac would control rains lightning bolt to zap it back at him. Teleknesis beats wheather.

Ermac got his ass handed to him in the show by Sonja and everyone knows Rain can beat Sonja.

If your talking about the movie, then yes, but the movie has nothing to do with the games. In the game world, ermac would easily crush sonya. Ermac is made up of thousands of souls, and sonya is just a mere human, ermac would whip her out wit his teleknesis.

Well then what would you call Rains projectile? he can control where the person goes for a short time, is that not telekensis? also Ermac can kick people trought the screen but yes i know if Rain were to return in MKD then he would have that move also Ermacs Originality stuff has already been passed down to a blind man. No one has yet to copy Rains abilities.

Wow, I love the lack of spelling knowledge in this post.

Anyways, between Ermac and Rain, I believe Rain would come out victorious because of his ability to put out weather attacks. I don't know, though, it was a hard decision.

It was Rain, not Ermac, who had the ability to Roundhouse kick people through the other side of the screen. Also I don't think Rain's projectile ability had anything to do with Telekinesis, it looked more like some water bubble and he more likely controlled the water surrounding his opponent, so no telekinesis for Rain.

I didnt really understand your post(Negative1).confused

Ermac is intended to be teleknetic, also, hes much superior than kenshi. Ermac taught kenshi one of the strongest teleknetic moves ever.

Also, i dont know about copying moves, but anyway, rains "lightning" move seems like it got the idea from raidens eletric personallity.

And for rain being teleknetic,i dont think hes really teleknetic. Rain is not using his mind to control you by himself, hes using a special ball to do it. Only when the ball hits you, then he can make you come to him.

I would have to agree with you because ermac can easily throw rain off a tower or onto a railroad track. so definitly ermac would win.
plus his costume is even better.
Ermac would win with ease! Telekenesis beats shitty weather anyday man, he could toy with him before destroying him, not even a fair fight. Way to easy

U guys dont know that Ermac would completely destroy Rain. Infact I hate to say it, but we know almost nothing about the two warriors except for their special abilities.

For example, take Goro and Noob Saibot. In the whole histroy of MK, only one person has ever defeated Goro and that was liu kang. Now bring in Noob saibot, and Im willing to bet a lot of you would say Goro would beat him in a fight but he ends up killing the shokan in the storyline.

Rain being one of kahns assasins would have a sure edge in the fight im sure. but it would be a good one anyway.

1st of all Noob Saibot sneak attacked Goro, who was already battle weary... You try fighting in a war, then get jumped by a skilled ninja from the Netherealm who is fresh while your almost outta gas. If Goro was at full strength then im sure Noob Saibot wouldnt have it as easy as he did. Same goes for Kahn and Quan Chi and Tsung.

Do you people understand the power and force of lightning?? To say that telekenesis would control or stop lightning is ridiculous. You have to be a superbly strong telekenetic to deflect lighting, and for some reason I dont believe even Ermac has enough skill or power to do that. Telekenesis is about concentration, and with lighting raining down upon him, i find it hard for him to keep up.

Remember these fighters special abilities are bonus's for them, it really comes down to fighting skill. The more power they use, the weaker they get. If Rain really wanted to he could just sit there and pull bolts of lightning one after another right upon Ermac. Then again if Ermac really wanted to win, all he'd had to do is get Rain in his telekenesis once, and rip him apart. But these fighters have a sense of honor, its going to come down to a fair bout of skill.

In the power catagory, Rain takes this one. In the skill catagory a 10,000 yr old expierenced Edenian ninja assasin vs. a being composed of thousands of warrior souls... its to close to call.

Its too bad Rain isnt returning in Deception. that would have me sold on the game. He needs to have his story told damnit. Im sick of everyone getting their chance in the spotlight except for him. I mean we have all these stupid bitches (sindel mileena, lie ming for christs sakes) coming back and we have people like kenshi who would have his body ripped into 50 pieces by any of the ninjas coming back, but no rain.

Boon, I personally want to tell u that its a waste of ur time if you can bring back scorpion in every game with the same boring story and keep out people who have potential like rain in the shadows.
