Odd. What people consider the two best games of MK at this point don't feature Sonya playable: MKII and MK:D.

Only one character don't make a game better or worser, but I admit it would be cool to have her in the game...

True. He did talk about Sonya quite often a couple of months ago. I think I asked him about her, but got the silent treatment. Does that mean he has a crush on me?

Maybe Sonya is playing Princess Prisoner like Kitana, and Sindel and Jade just didn't let her down because they don't like her.

In terms of female characters, I'd rather have Kitana than Sonya. If not Kitana than Sareena. If not Sareena, then Nitara. If not Nitara than Frost. If not Frost then.....okay then Sonya.

lol hmmm im not a sonya fan,but after kitana.. there are not any other note worthy females to bring back in the game. so if i had to choose.. hmmm sareena just because i have nerver played as her.. if not her then sheeva if not then sonya...

Sonya is by far my favourite among the female characters in MK (if not my favourite among ALL the characters), so it really does bug me that she apparently won't be in MKD. Never in a thousand years would I have anticipated that they'd choose Sindel and Tanya over her.... Hopefully she'll end up in the game, but I'm not exactly counting on it.

I don't know about Queve having a crush, but it's been a while since I've crushed on someone. I'll take the job.

I'm happy she isn't in it.

It was always the same chars in every single MK. Sonya, Liu Kang, Cage, Jax, Raiden, Kung Lao. They killed Kang in DA, but that was all. Now it seems they decided to do a real change in the term of playable characters, and I'm glad they did it, though I'd love to see Cage back.

I dont mind if shes in or not, but i dont think she really fits with what is happening in MK Deception.

I am not a big Sonya fan, but I liked her a lot in MKDA, just because of her weapon combo!

Anyway if Jax is back(?) then maybe Sonya has a chance too, so who knows!!?!!

I've been on this board for a while, but this is the first time I've gotten such a warm deception...urr umm, reception.

Sonya was in almost every MK game, except for MK2 and maybe MKD.

If she's not in then big deal, she had her chance in the spot light, now it's time for other classics to have their turn.

Sonya is my favorite character, that you all know, and I REALLY HOPE she is in this game, BUT, I just KNOW that she will definitely return for MK7 if she is absent in deception, but if she actually makes the cut in deception, something tells me I wont see her in Mk7.

If I had to choose 1 game, I say Sonya must return for Mk7 and rest in deception. Of course I want her in both, but if she has to miss one, let it be deception.

Sonya is the original babe of the series, one of the main heroes, she is popular, she has always been present in kombat one way or another don’t expect to have seen the last of Miss Blade. We might have a big surprise at the end.

She has been in 3 out of 5 MK games in the past, as well as having a freakin game specifically for her (special forces with jax)... give some other characters a chance here. I could care less about characters completely, as long as the gameplay and overall appearance and feel of the game is good. Characters more or less are just added bonuses to me. My favorites are Kung Lao and Reptile but I haven't complained about their absence yet because the gameplay looks so promising.

Actually, she has been in 4, 5 if you count her presence and involment with the story.

Mk1, Mk2 (background, story), Mk3 (MkU/MkT), Mk4 (MKGold), Mk5 (MKDA) and maybe...

MKD or/and Mk7.

Sonya will be ready for kombat again. I hope she returns like she always does...improved and better then ever!
