Everything in this game, except characters and stages should be kept secret until the final game's release. They shouldn't spoil everyone's fatality's and brutality's either. There would be no fun to see it for the first time while playing it yourself.

And like that other topic says, the into should definitely not be spoiled until people pop in the game and watch it.

No, everything but fatalities/brutalities should be revealed.

I 100% agree on the intro, definitely don't want to see that leaked. I think if we end up with 1 fatal/brut per char, we'll see maybe 1 or 2 more max however if each character ends up with 2 apiece we'll probably see a handful more.

What are you guys talking about? If anything they should release the beta version to the public for testing. Then they can fix any of the crazy bugs by utilizing global feedback.

It's not a fricken movie, why should it be secret?

I dont wanna know any of the endings or see the intro movie, I doubt I'll be able to avoid them tho as UK usually gets it 2 weeks later. Like MKA I'll crumble and see everything.

I have no problem with the intro being released early, but I agree with the others that say that fatalities and brutalities should be kept secret until release.

Ugh...not like that. They already ready had a playable version at E3, had many many previews that showcased the game. So if they hear anything negative about the gameplay, they have already heard it.

Im saying I dont wanna see videos everywhere ruining the fatalitys/butalitys and a video on the intro. And i'd kinda want to know why the two universes collided when I play the story mode. Not read a paragraph of why it happened.

I hear you. I never really go searching really though. So I don't have to worry about leaks or anything. Besides, it really doesn't actually make much difference to me whether I get to see the intro movie on the net or not. If anything, it gets me more excited than take the fun away. But that's me though!

On the playable version at E3; I think you'll find that that's a completely different thing to having the game tested in online mode. Look at MKA for example; looked good at E3, but sucked ass in online mode which is where most folks play competitively. So the feedback from E3 is somewhat not valid from online perspective.

I'm all for the rest except for minor updates for being kept secret. It adds more anticipation and suspicion. If you know "too much" it kills the anticipation factor a bit.

good point. i remember the days before the internet, and even gaming mags ruined everything. however, it needs to be balanced. maybe not secrets revealed, just characters and stages and gameplay mechanincs, which the team has been doing. i remember mk3's ad campaign that was supposed to reveal the ukk, but we had that within days of the game coming out thanks to the net. it was cool, but kind of a bummer too. hopefully any secret characters and such won't be revealed too early. the other alternative is just not look until you have the game or figure things out for yourself.

I don't get it. I think as much information should be released as they want to release and it should be up to you to decide whether or not you want to spoil it for yourself.

Also, I don't mind fatalities and brutalities being spoiled because it's not like I am going to figure out the combinations on my own and it's not like the computer will beat me AND pull one off.

I would prefer that the intro DOES get leaked. They always have more of an emotional impact on me when I see them on my computer, knowing I still have to wait for the game. Seeing the intro early gets me hyped far more than any prior news bit.

As long as it's well-animated with lots of action like the last three games' intros were, that is.

Yeah dude. Now with the net, connections and inside people etc it kills everything or almost everything concerning newer games. I liked being "surprised" I mean either way, people are either going to like it or not anyway right? I mean I'm beyond a fanatic of MK and can find out everything that comes out from elsewhere IF I wanted but I don't want to know "too much" too soon you know.

At least with keeping lots of secrets until release, we wouldn't have to worry too much about "will this guy be in or not, did Boon mean this or that with that anwer" "Why this render could have been better?" etc, etc pretty much it would eliminate a lot of ranting and false speculation as Boon already covered in recent interviews. I mean, the whole "finisher" move thing was taken way the hell out of proportion because Midway never confirmed "no fatalities at all in this game once it's released" they just said they'd tone it down to T rating.

Kind of reminds me of some new sports cars that come out with people assuming things you know? The next sports car will use a turbo charged V6 rather then a flat up V8. Does that mean it'll be worse and not fast? Not at all know what I mean? glasses
