expolison details

i like how they fixed the expolison in MKD, no more piece of generic meat. but i wondering how cool it would be if in the explosion there would be piece of the charaters clothing. EX. if you say made sindel expolde, piece of purple clothing would flutter down with the organs and bones. i would take it further, say if baraka expolded, in the whole slew of blood and inards would be his two metal arm blades and pieces of clothing. i would also think it would be cool if their weapon would be in the pile of guts and bones.
i think it looks weird when someone expoldeds and its like the cloths just got evaporated.

I agree that some stuff like like Jaxs metal arms should still be intact. The weapons would be shattered by the explosions but some parts of them should be seen amidst the flesh and blood. And I think clothing would be completely destroyed but that would depend on what it was made of.

for a charater like hotura0, the armor clad samiria, after the expolion his chunk of armor would be spread allong the stage.

wow, I never knew explosion could be spelled like that. tongue I definitely agree with you though, anything to make the gore and action in the game more realistic can only enhance the game experience.

I would like to see Hotaru's flag poles turned to splinters of wood. I think that some limbs should stay intact but the flesh should burn from the heat of the explosion.

This is a great Idea but not every part of them should be in tiny pieces u watch war movies wear people blow up or at the end of Bad Boys 2 the guy lands on a mine he's not in a million pieces. like one arm could be blown off while the other is attached to the body. Or like there hand is laying there and a few fingers are missing. Then there weapons like burned like its black and mybe in a cppl pieces not to many this would be cool.

This is a great idea! Just a little something could be left behind after the explosion to remind everyone who died. Excellent! But I guess the only question I have is what if someone doesn't have any armor or other special features to be left behind (aside from their weapons), like in Mileena and Li Mei's alt. outfits.

sorry about the typos, it not that i don't know how to spell, i touch type and am often to lazy to look over what i just wrote, i should get into the habit of doing so, i have got flamed many times for spelling errors.

but back to the topic, smoke or subzero or rayden or even blaze even though he is not in it, would have something radiating from their destroyed bodies, ex smoke would have smoke coming out of his remains, subby would have ice , rayden would have lighting running through the chunks. you get the idea. for lei mei who have very litte on would just have a little bit of clothing shreads.
it would also depend on the type of explosion, like in ermacs and houtaro fatality, its more of a crushing splatter, so chlothing should stay somewhat in tact. the meat grinder use this idea as well.

nice thread... i agree with most everything you said

idk if the ideas for elemental/ethereal characters like Smoke would work though... i mean they sound good, but in practice I don't think they'd be too hot

to me it looked ridiculous whenever i did a fatality that involved a head exploding (Sonya, Jax, Scorpion, etc) and was performed on someone with a hat or head accessory, only to have it disappear along with the head... hmm
