Hey good job with the list. Im curious to see what other styles from DA made it into the game as well as what other new ones they will show us. Keep in mind though, Boon said these styles were only tentative as of now, that they may be prone to getting changed.

This strengthens the arguement over Sektor in that picture...I find it weird that Cyrax's styles havent been used by any of the non-MKDA characters...so he still has a case of being in the game

Though Im happy with must, its sad to see Nightwolf with the games most powerful style! I hope if sonya is bak, or in Mk7, that she keeps Tae Kwon Do. Its simply powerful!

I haven't heard of most of the new styles, except Val Tudo, Gojuryu, Silat, and Choy Lee Fut; and regarding weapons, Naginata, and obviously blades axe.

I'm glad to see Silat featured; I've been curious about that style for a long time. It seems strange that Kenshi has Judo, but maybe that's just because Jax had it, and by association I would expect another big character to have it. I don't know much about Val Tudo, but it seems like a good choice for Nightwolf.

MK team, please don't give the melon to Li Mei! She should have something a foot soldier would use, like a spear or halberd. It would go better with her new Dragon King army image. Give the melon to the Shokan guy. In fact, give him two - that way he could hold one with two hands.

I actually love Melon for Li Mei.

I just hope they give Scorpion pi gua and Sonya Tae Kwon dO!

I'm liking the weapons choices thusfar. With Li Mei's melons (), maybe people will finally realize she's not actually a clone of Mileena at all.

I also love Ashrah's Kriss (one of the few MK:D weapons I actually have).

I hope the final game has their alignment and such included as well. I liked that about Deadly Alliance, since I tend to gravitate towards the evil characters.

It would be fairly cool if he got Jeet Kune Do or something, but I think Liu Kang or someone will get that. How about we use what's been confirmed so far to make our own picks on other characters styles?

What do you mean by a top tier.
Nightwolf's styles seem very powerful in their nature.
Like you said Tae Kwon Do is a powerful style. From what I've seen from the direct feed vids Val Tudo looks to be a powerful style.

I just noticed something. It's probably a mistake but in MK:DA Sonya's style was Tae KwOn Do. In MK:Deception Nightwolf's style is Tae KwAn Do. Are these 2 different styles or just the one but a mistake ?

No, that was Hotaru's alt outfit with a helmet that happened to look a little like Cyrax's. He had white hair sticking from his helmet, and white fingers. Cyrax is black and has no hair.

Yeah, it's "Vale Tudo", and "Tae Kwon Do".

Cyrax won't be in Mortal Kombat: Deception.

They spelled some of the fighting styles incorrectly. It's supposed to be Vale Tudo and Tae Kwon Do like someone else said. And it's supposed to be Dragon, not Dragons.

Anyway, I'm glad Sub-Zero has Dragon and Kori Blade but he should have Wushu instead of Shotokan. I'm glad Kenshi has Tai Chi and Katana but he should have Lohan Quan instead of Judo. I'm glad Scorpion has Hapkido and Ninja Sword. I don't know anything about Moifah so I'll have to find more about it. Li Mei's styles are fine as well as Bo' Rai Cho's. I would've liked Ermac to have Xing Yi Quan. Noob Saibot should have had Tae Kwon Do instead of Nightwolf but Vale Tudo and Tomahawk suits Nightwolf.

However, I can think of a few changes.

Although I've never seen Sulsa or Ghost Hands in action the latter sounds perfectly fitting for Smoke. And thank you for agreeing with me that he should have crescent blades, and not a trident. I've imagined that for years.

Also, being Lin Kuei and all, Smoke could also be using any number of style we've see: ninjitsu, sambo, shotokan, etc.

Sektor, I think, should not have a pulse blade. Leave that to Cyrax. Instead, give him that dual blade that Darth Maul used in SW: episode one (yes, it's official: Cyber-ninjas = Star Wars weapons >_
Saibot needs his damn scythe back.

I'm Ok with Nightwolf having Tae Kwon Do, I just hope it's toned down.

Props for Quan having a sorceror's staff. He doesn't look right with broadswords, IMO.

And I think it's established that Kang will use Jeet Kune Do. There's no other possibility. It's just HIM.

However, I've not seen Li Mei's Melons. (They'd BETTER change her weapon, or I won't be able to take her seriously). What kind of weapons are they?

I think Li Mei's Melons are awesome.... er.. not like that!! ^.^....... i think it's a perfect weapon choice for her. completely makes her her own character.

I'm a little disappointed with Sindel's weapon being to similar to hotaru's, but maybe there's still a chance they can give her a new one. it doesn't have to be a whip which a lot of ppl want her to weild, I just want every character to be different and unique.
An idea for Sindel- maybe they can give her a Hook chain or somethin. HOT!

Mistake. In the tariler nighwtolf fights the same.

Ghost Hands and Devil Hands are two styles of Dim Mak (touch of death). I don't know too much about these styles but I will look into them.

Fuma-Ryu and Koga-Ryu are two of the most ancient styles of Ninjitsu. Fuma-Ryu is the closest to that of the Lin Kuei techniques.
