Anyway, I forgot to talk a bit about Sulsa.

Sulsa is the art of concealment and is an ancient Korean martial art that uses over 4000 combat techniques. It was developed around the 11th century C.E. and it was strongly influenced by the Lin Kuei's combat skills during the early 700s C.E.

As for Ghost Hands and Devil Hands, they are both very painful and deadly styles of combat that of course use pressure point strikes since they are both styles of Dim Mak (Touch of Death).

I just hope they've reworked the throw system if they're going to keep styles like Judo in the game. It was a joke in DA with wrestling and Judo having only 2 extra throws each. They really need to add multi-direction commands and expand the move lists if they're going to present these kinds of styles accurately.

I totally agree with you on Devil Hands for Sektor. Since Sektor is evil it just sounds like it would fit. But after reading up on Devil Hands it says it uses not punches but single hits on pressure points. It says the purpose of this style is to take out a opponent in 1 hit. So there would be no combos. It could be really sweet if they did it right. But seeing how they did wrestling, having 2 throws, I dont see the MK team doing it right.

Moifah is a Shaolin art - "Plum Flower Fist." That was about all I could find.

About the Spelling: Some of these names are translated from different languages so they may have used something other than American English translation.

It could be Japanese pronunication of the names. This part of the language is called Kana, the "Roman Letter" pronunciation of Japanese Kanji. Not everyone there learns Kanji or the iconic characters. Here is an example:

A: Kinoo Shinkansen-de Nagoya-e itta-yo.
(I went to Nagoya by Shinkansen yesterday.)
B: Tochuu-de Fujisan-o mita?
(Did you see Mt Fuji?)
A: Uun, kumotteite mirarenakatta-no. / Iya, kumotteite mirarenakattan-da.
(No, it was cloudy then.)

It could be used to give the names a more Authentic feel. Not that anyone would know that other than those that know Japanese.

Yes, I know what you mean. Devil Hands would be cool but at the same time, it'd be very tough to pull off with the fighting engine. Perhaps Sektor could have his own personal style that uses moves from Devil Hands.

As for the throwing thing, I remember reading that the characters will have more throws. Hopefully, there'll be more authenticity to styles such as Jujitsu, Ninjitsu, Aikido, Judo, Shuai Chiao, and Wrestling as well as other styles in terms of grappling and such.
