yea i wonder who's gonna be the main boss...i always thought Shao Kahn has been the BEST Boss in all the mortal kombat games. I've also always wanted a Shaow Priest to be a sub boss, but i doubt that'll happen in Armageddon.
I think it'll be cool if it'll depend on which character you're fighting with. I always thouht it'll be cool if they had the sub boss be a character that has had a rivalry with another character. For example, if you're using Mileena, when she gets to the sub boss, she would have to fight either Kitana, Sindel or Baraka. It could change from time to time....
Yea, i hope this game has a lot of variety and i'm HOPING the "Choose Your Destiny" is back, cuz in Deception, i would have the SAME arenas and SAME opponents every time and it would get annoying.

I think the final boss should be someone brand new we haven't seen. This is supposed to be the grand finale of this generation. I want the final threat to be something major. Not a repeat villain.
Maybe something like the essence of the One Being takes a physical form or something. If not someone new, than at least be Onaga again. Hell, I'd even take Raiden.
But for the love of God...NOT Shao Kahn again.
I'm not keen on the final boss being a rival idea. I don't think the story should be simplified into each character having ONE rival that they fight to win. Especially since a lot of characters have multiple issues they need be dealing with.

I would prefer rival boss...

I have thought random bosses between Kahn, Onaga, Blaze (or whatever), Shinnok, with sub bosses, Goro, Kintaro, Molock, Motaro with sub sub bosses, Quan Chi, Tsung, Sheeva.
Plus that would give nice difficulty

a rival boss would only work if you wern't alowed to change your character
after losing a fight because if you change character the boss would no longer be the rival of the new character you pick and the boss would have to change as well. Tekken 5 included a story rival battle, a boss and a sub-boss without much trouble

I can only say that if Onaga is the boss again, I will be very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very* disappointed.
In fact, if that happens, I'll sit in the corner and cry... tears of blood.

As for who I think the boss will seriously be: I think Blaze, yes, I know the topic creator doesn't like it, but I'm 90% sure he will be the end boss.

I'd like to see the sub-boss as a rival boss. Work your way through your ladder and the penultimate boss to be your rival..then after him/her you move on to the final boss.
As for the final boss..I have no idea who it will be..Blaze will play a big part in this game I've had that as a gut feeling ever since I saw his render..but I'm not quite sure how they could portray him as a boss..perhaps something will be explained in MK Unchained..There's so little we know about his character so anything is possible, however..my opinion on possible final bosses ?

the sub boss should be the characters rival and the final boss should be the amin threat to that character, not their main enemie, but the main threat, eg good side fights onaga, bad side fights suped up raiden or if blaze is a good guy, then him

In Blaze's ending for Mk.DA, it says "He then resumed the quest he had undertaken before being subdued by his captors" This quest could give him enough power to be the boss. Thread creator, if your going to make a thread about possible boss's, include ALL possible boss's(with the information we have so far). In the render, Blaze is much bigger. So this coupled with the the ambigous ending means that Blaze could very well be the Final boss

As much as I would love Shao Kahn being the new boss, I doubt it will happen. He's had his time (92-97).
I would really want Raiden to be the boss. Or maybe Blaze.

Prefer the random boss idea.
Also, seeing as Onaga is (was?) part Reptile, he should have the ability to turn invisible at random!

I always liked extra-powerful "normal" characters as bosses... what I mean is I dont want a giant (Onaga, Goro, Kintaro) for a boss... but an above-average fighter.... someone who is not inmune to anything but is faster and stronger...
