Nah queve, I wan't talking about you. I take anime seriously, but I'm not going to get all red ass about people not liking it. but here's another point I want to make. You have to take into acount where the game is made and what public it's geared to. Most fighting games are made in Japan right? Japan is anime central, so it's natural that their games reflect that. Anime in Japan is also much more opened since they nudity, sex and gore. MK is American grown, so it obviously wont have the same elements as a Japanese game, considering that everything here is censored, espicially pornagrophy, were as in Japan and Europe it isn't. So american games are going to be influenced by that, hence the reaction to some of female being more conservative, and also the reaction to the alts. that show more skin. Plus I think that the reactions and calling the women in MK whores when they show some cleavage or some panties is a side effect from the game not changing for like ten years and sticking to tradition, which is blood and gore, as well as fully dressed females. Now that the franchise is taking more and more from japanese culture, people are having anurisms because they can't deal with it. And THAT'S what pisses me off the most.

Let me just say I love every single female character's head-dress style in this game. I like Ashrah, Kira, and Jade's hairstyles in their primary costumes, Li Mei's hat in her alt, man they really made their heads look good.

Great points but sometimes No2 goes with No1!
One thing, she is not the first female to show her underwear. DOA has plenty of that.
But the great thing is that the clothing plays a major role in the characters movements and positions now. That adds more details.
