I hope I can get in this tourney.

I have a question. Will the fill in's only be used in the first round? Or will they also be used to fill in spots in the later rounds of the tourney? I just want to know how long I'd need to wait before I know that I won't be able to get into the tourney.

some people may not play at all...cause we set this tourny a while back......my oppontent for the first round, totally forgot about the tourny then i tracked him down and told him thats it starts the 19th...anyway my point is a few people will be missing so u have a good chance to take someones spot

I've coded a new index page at http://mkdt.schpfmut.com so you should be able to see the bracket.

I haven't had the time to make sure all of the features of the site function in Netscape browsers yet, but if I can i'll get it up. You're not missing anything though... Just a little menu and some rollover text. I'm putting links up now in the netscape page so you can get to the forums and back to MKO from our page.

Man I wish we could make this faster...i'm ready for another match.

Just wanted to drop in and say that I'm dropping out of the tournament... quite honestly, to me, it's because the game is just boring. I haven't even picked it up the past week or so and found it hard swallowing an hour of it, although MrS removed some of the boredom away. Still the game is just.. well, makes me cry thinking about picking it up. I mean when I'm not at the arcades everyday between my gaps in classes, I'm the person that will randomly pick up old fighting games at home like X-Men vs SF or SFII Turbo or even the old real bout fatal furies, etc. But I really can't bring myself to play this game... not even the puzzle mode and the chess mode is laughable. Puzzle modes flaws, despite being a ripoff, they forgot to ripoff timed blocks, so that rushing or attack often isn't very smart since it will increase the retaliation of your opponent and since the blocks aren't delayed before they are open for retaliation like Super Puzzle Fighter. As for Chess.. man, the inclusion of the power cells basically removed all forms of piece placement and strategy, it becomes an all out war for the power cells and you send wave after wave fighting over them and that's pretty much it.

Anyways, to the people that I've played, mainly Bleize and MrS, thanks for the matches. I don't want to leave out of spite and you guys do own me at this game so I hope you own it up. This game is just too boring and the thinking involved too simple with 50/50 rigid stuff coming out of the ass.

i defeated Dark Mk 2-0 but he quit before the third match.

only about 5 matches out of 32 are completed and 2 days to go till next round. Unless everybody saved their fight for the last day.. thats cool, but i don't think its looking so good.

This tournament's purpose was to bring a community together and be fun. As we noticed.. the game is fun, but this tournament isn't looking so "lively".

If somehow we get more fights in, and people participating.. everything should role fine.

and by the way.. GREAT JOB WITH THE SITE MR. S // and don't throw this site away or anything.. it is good to have for future reference when "Committing" players want to play competitivly.

Everyone signed up before the game came out to be apart of something, and thats not a bad thing.. but now,,, even i find myself busy with work and school. so i don't blame anyone not playing the game 24/7. //

My humble opinion would be to carry on with the tournament even if there are 4 ppl left after the first round, and even if only two people of the 4 are available for their match. Canceling it because alot of ppl didn't play their matches in time would be counter-productive. Finish the tourney, decalre the winner, and carry on. There are alot of people out there who want to play in a MK:D tournament, and there are also alot of MK websites that are thowing online tourneys. It may not be the big tourney now that you want it to be, but these things start small. Besides, it's the first MK:D online tourney for this website, ever. If you keep them going, and run them monthly for example, you'll find more players that will finish their matches on time signing up. We've already got several people that have proven they can finish their matches on time. It's a good begining. Don't cut em short.

As soon as my opponent replies to my PMs or accepts my friend's list invite, I'll be able to finish this first round.

i suppose if we do get an even number of players for round 2, we can go on.// and of course, way in the beginning, this tournament was for fun, and now we can have future tournaments with no flaws, and we can be better prepared. // and also we will most likely have the tournaments in Mr. S's site. for one reason... he can email everyone that is signed up with a click of a button.. rather then me pm everyone message by message..lol.// .. but anyway.. yeah.. we'll manage to get an even number of players for round 2. and we'll go on till we have one winner. //
