I remember reading about that here a long time ago. Boon did say something like characters will have a lot, or some of their old moves back.
I also read about the 6 specials too. It was on this site I think or in a magazine, I don't remember.
6 special moves for every fighter would be awesome.
Some of them don't even have to be different moves, they could be like sub's ice shower. You have multiple options for the same special.
I hope they did it.
As of right now, It looks to me like fighters will have 2 to 5 specials Most fighters look like they are in the 2-3 range.

Man, I read that a long time ago. Around April or May. So I'm not worried. No way Sub will only have two moves. Hmmm, I thought everyone remembered he said that.......

Until E32004 (March or April), Ed Boon said that the PLAN was that the fighters have 6 special moves... only the original plan, not a fact.
