It seems FOV 120 has to do with coding a game. Pertaining to game-coding, FOV stands for Field Of View/Vision. The higher the number after, the better the "character" can see. Maybe those hacking into the game's files should be looking at something along those lines.

FOV 120 is also the standard amout of vision a normal person would have. Sounds to me like they were just spitting out inside joke stuff and then getting to watch us all triple think everything they said like the monkey's we are on guessing what they are trying to tell us.

its a quake reference.. in quake 2 and higher alot of gamers will use the command 'fov 120' to increase their field of view for an edge in deathmatch. you should be able to verify this pretty easy with a quick search.

I'll buy that. So the MK team is just acting like a "team". Like in baseball, for example. There's a certain attitude and goofiness on a baseball team which has a lot of inside joke kinda stuff. But in this case, the team consists of video game geeks with an inferiority complex because they're geeks (no amount of money can change that, Edward). So they try to act cool by messing with people. You know they were laughing after that Fight Night.

FOV 120 means Field Of Vision 120 and is an usual command in first person shooters to increase your field of vision to gain an advantage. It's commonly used in online deathmatch games.

What I think Boon tried to tell us was that we should keep our eyes open - increase our field of vision.

I doubt it, If he want to say keep our eyes open, he should say "keep your eyes open" without going kryptical, but see one thing I don't like about this MK team is they actually talk Kryptically ALL the time! We have to guess it's a hint or a joke, because either way could be true. But hell they made a hell of a Awesome fighting game, I agree about that!

OK so FOV 120 is a command in shooters to widen you field of veiw right?? Is it just me or is there not a command in the game the set to game to WIDE screen. And now we have to wonder if we would be able to see something "extra" in playing this way. I am gonna go check and see if its possible to play like this.

Hrm, I set it to widescreen in the options...now we just have to see if this corrolates to the 'FOV 120' widening your view idea.

I played MKD on an HDTV before and there's nothing special about it. It looks awesome though...

Also I am sure Goro has got to be a secrect character...look at his trading card in the Kontent area...they made a very detailed 3d model for him that we have never seen anywhere else used. they would not waste that much time and money to create such a 3d model just for a card picture.

My theory is that FOV120 is a command to set field of vision in a FPS, so maybe it puts the game in a first person view. He did say hidden modes, 1st person view mode would fit that description.

I have been trying to play widescreen on a regular aspect ratio tv. It is big enough that it would not be hard to see. I played madden football (rented) in widescreen. I had the xbox settings on widescreen and did not realize it. For some reason, MKD will not go into widescreen mode even with the xbox settings on. I wonder if it detects the tv.

if you use the codes in the bottom right corners of the pages
it could be left left triangle if you use the ones on the adjacent pages to there starting pages
or square square up if you use the ones on the backsides
