Hey there,

This morning I was given a link to an article on Gamefly.com where they stated that Shang Tsung and Johnny Cage would be returning. Before I get any other News Lead Submissions on the subject, I'd better put this rumour to rest now.

I contacted Midway, and they said (in no uncertain terms) that they have not announced any new characters since E3, and that not only did this information not come from Midway, it should be considered inaccurate.

As we learn more about the game in the coming months, we'll let you all know.

Yeah, I saw that article this morning. Gamefly even said that MK:D was being made by Konami. You would think they would be right about the company, sheesssh! I thought everyone knew that MK was made by Midway.

This is very funny. The character list has gotten so out of hand that it's hard to tell who has and has not been confirmed. There are many different sites and magazines confirming so many different characters (a la GameSpot and their Jax confirmation) it's hard to keep track. If we go by what all these sites and mags are saying you would have 24 characters. And thats not realistic.

Anyways, I guess the point I am trying to make is that MKO (mainly DAB) should use their connection with Midway to get an official list of characters they DID confirm. That way we'll have an official list and many rumors will be laid to rest.
