I'm well aware of the past posts concerning the fans that hate MAT and KE Deception with MK 1, I think the same of them.There's no real gameplay problems with it and that's what counts in the end.It's offline so who give a shit really another thing, and they're really old games.Midway might have rushed MAT however, would you rather they make a game that's not online and old perfect for your personal delight or have them make the newer MK's better with online play along with the new UMK3 coming out for the 360 arcade perfect?Exactly

First, when I said Deception, I was referring to MK1, which had one minor problem. The music in the Courtyard stage was practically muted. Yes, that's the only problem and yes, I am going to bitch about it because there's no excuse for something like that.

Second, I never said you called me a crybaby and it's not just me "complaining" about "retarded" (great choice of words by the way. Way to single out mentally handicapped people) things. They're legitimate concerns and there were about 30 other peeps bitching about it. Yeah, gameplay makes the game. Let's say you're playing Super Mario Brothers that just got ported. Except, it was ported without any background graphics. Wouldn't that just slightly annoy you? Sure, it doesn't affect the gameplay but it makes it bland and it's not like the original. And who gives 2 shits if it's online? I don't. What does that have to do with anything?

Third, no I didn't know what you were talking about. I'm not a fucking psychic. Type out what you are trying to say next time instead of mentally projecting it to me. When did I ever say I wanted a game perfect? Or every game for that matter? When something is coined as arcade perfect, you'd better damn well not give me a sloppy port and that's exactly what it was so quit being a fanboi. I'm a fan of MK too but I'm real enough to point out when something is fucked. You know, for all the shortcommings of MK3 on SNES, it was due to the fact that the console didn't have the hardware to handle it. Not because some programmers are fucking lazy and want to shortcut.

I agree with you on SNES example and MK3, however it was much better then the Sega version if I had to pick either.MK2 for the SNES was very good.Most feel this way.

You guys are both wrong. Yes gameplay is what really matters, but that alone can not be the deffinition of perfectness. Since so many people barely know the game, they are a million times more likely to find issues with sounds or graphics. And apparently, that's what gaming is all about now, graphics over gameplay. Stupid newbs who barely play it aren't going to notice gameplay differences.

But to be arcade perfect, it needs to be perfect in everyway. That's just a given.

I disagree a little bit, in a rushed product you shouldn't expect perfection on such short notice (like MAT for example) all the time.MAT has other games in it, they're not going to go nuts with just the MK's in it.I mean there are fans of the other oldschool Midway titles too you know.I mean, that's why they're taking their time with UMK3 man for the 360 because that will be online meaning more comp right off the bat and they want to make sure it's arcade perfect.That will be ONLY MK and nothing else in the package so they can take their time with it and make it arcade perfect as you say.I prefer arcade accurate.
