Truly one of the best, if not the best, trailers yet. Short but sweet. A rather nice way for them to let us know they've moved ahead on the graphics aspect of the game.

Sweet, the graphics do look touched up. I love how the portal gateway looks, all dark and ominous. Raiden's face looks a lot better. Keep up the good work Midway, can't wait for MK:SM.

Nothing special, mostly pre-rendered. I cant wait for it to come out, loved the demo.

This is gana be the best mortal kombat yet and I love the moltiplayer battle system!!!!!!

Also you start with about 50 moves and end with about 100 thats wat I found out its,thats more moves than most of the games out there have at the end sweet!!!!!!!!

Awesome teaser trailer. Why does Raiden's eyes turn green at the end though? Maybe it's just the lighting of the environment.

Wasn't Shang Tsung's main objective for Shao Kahn to trick the Earth Warriors to go to the Outworld to fight?

There isn't an European version of the Special edition. Never heard about this Jakks-Pacific, but I looked it up on the net and it looks kinda cool. Thnx for the info, tough I rather wait for this so I can play it on my PS.

True, one of the reasons I didn't buy the Jakks, was because I got the game with MKD

I think Raiden is Shang... atleast in that part of the game

but I dont think Raiden would just forget about his little buddies right after a tournament... maybe one of the story peices you will find out is that Raiden actually went on a Cruise while Shang took over.... :)) who knows

Oh yeah! They were most DEFINATELY implying that the Raiden that sent our heroes to outworld was in fact Shang Tsung in "disguise"

The ominous, evil look he gives as his eyes turn green (with that deliberate woosh sound effect) signifies that he is not who he appears to be, and his intentions are anything but noble.

I have to admit, I think its awsome that they gave raiden a more simplified costume. I am utterly sick of the gaudy, garrish, ornamental costumes of MK Deadly Alliance and Deception. MK 1-4 were great in terms of simple elegance. All these over the top costumes are ugly and offensive. What is up with Sub Zero looking like Ghengis Kahn meets TMNT's Shredder? bleh!

Seriously, Lui Kang's, Baraka's and Scorpion's alternate costumes were my favorites.

BRING BACK SIMPLE, CLASSY LOOKING COSTUMES!

TAKE SCORPION OUT OF THE SUIT OF ARMOR AND MAKE HIM A NINJA LIKE HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE! IN FACT, MAKE ALL THE NINJAS LOOK LIKE NINJAS AGAIN PLEASE!

Has midway not realized that bigger is not always better? My favorite MK games will always be MK1 and MK2. They were eerie, simple, elegant, fast paced and visceral. They have staying power and it is why fans still gravitate to titles like Midway Arcade Treasures 2, Deception's Bonus disk MK1, and the MK TV game. They need to realize that while the new games are a little cool, they get old really fast because they are too flashy and slow and they have lost that intangible somthing that made the classics megahits.

Amen to that.
