I don't know why people are complaining! The arenas look detailed and simply amazing! The graphics actually seem better, and this is while viewing it through an external source (com), not even live! Can't wait to play it.

because nobody who cares about MK gives a flying fuck about how the game looks, when the fighting game mechanism is broken. BROKEN!

I saw a couple infinite possibilities, because of the plants. Other than that, I think this game looks amazing. I think people are forgetting the scope of this game. It's going to be huge, and of course there are going to be flaws simply due to the size of it. This is going to be a fans game, not a hardcore fighter's game. You should realize that beforehand, and spare some disappointment. Do we want it to be both? Sure. Will it be? It's looking sketchy, but we still have some time. They ARE trying to balance it, you can tell from the mechanics they are trying to impliment. Someone complained about Shao Kahn being knocked back like a regular fighter, about it not being realistic. I think in that particular instance the designers are worried more about balance than with realism. All the characters will probably be able to be knocked back like that, unless there is something else the larger character has that can compensate him not being knocked back.
As far as the graphics are concerned, don't they have to keep it a bit less detailed for optimum online play experience? From my understanding, and I could be off on this, more detail = more lag for the most part. Besides, they look about as clean as Deception's did, so I really don't see the problem here.
Looks great to me...cannot wait.

How can you say the gameplay is horrible if you haven't played it yet? Watching streamed videos is very different from playing the actual game. And to respond to everyone comparing MK to Tekken and VF graphics, Namco and Sega are much richer than Midway so they can afford more technology. If you want it to look better, donate millions to Midway or stop crying about it.

I may be wrong, but i think Midway acually acquired Unreal Engine 4, so MK shouldnt be having crappy graphics.

By the time they finish MK7, the UT4 engine will be outclassed. Midway is fucked.

It was a kick btw. Not a jab. And also, it doesnt matter how much Kahn weighs, this is mortal kombat everything is fantasy. Freezing ppl, shooting out water, shooting fireballs, etc. You are over thinking this.
Its only a game not real life ffs. If you want real physics, play Gta

^^ I agree; Shao Kahn weighs what...? At his height I'd say close to 300 lbs. I don't really see Rain's jab knocking him into the ceiling, or him really bouncing ; special things should be set up for certain characters.
For the female characters, I can see it. Some of the males, I'm not sure, they should just fall and attempt to get up.
I think the air combos will be nice ; but they can end with punishing results.

You want to talk realism, one strike from Dairous sword is enough to cause you to die from bleeding. Thats realism. Also, Rain weighs what? 260lbs
